Quarantine and chill and kindness chatty clubhouse: Jump in and join the conversation! All is welcome!

I started watched from season 1 and then stopped around season 5. Then started back up around 28. Back when I was watching 28 I went back and binge watched a few gem seasons. But I saw the awful 32 and 39 in all their glory when they aired. Unfortunately. Loving loving loving 40. Binge watched 6 on Sat and 11 yesterday. 11 was boring and had a couple awful guys like 32 did. And Danny's win was due to bitter jury. I liked season 6 but Jenna also didn't deserve her win. Thought Rob did but he was outlasted so all on him.

I've watched faithfully since the first episode. And beyond that this is the one show I consistently watch live. Ive adjusted vacations to accommodate and when I couldnt adjust a vacation we would watch live if at all possible (if we were out at sea we would miss but if we were land based we would watch). We watch nothing that airs on a channel that plays commercial live except for Survivor. I believe I have missed either 2 or 3 episodes live. If Season 40 hadnt been the all winners cast that it was I would have been done at season 39. That's how die hard of a fan I was and how big of a mis step that cluster of 39 was.

I dont know if I can buy into the "bitter jury" syndrome as a means for an illegitimate win. A big part of the game is reading people and jury management. So those second place whiners complaining of bitter jury failed to see that, in fact, the jury was bitter and didnt play appropriately. IMOs Aubry got the rawest deal out of the runners up, it was hard (with the edit we were seeing) to see that many mis steps that she made. Ive never seen her talk badly about it though.

LOL. I thought MOM were initials for a show I hadn't heard of. That was a "duh" moment for me.
Probably my fault for writing it as MOM and not Mom. Sometimes my fingers dont work great and I dont let up on the caps button when I should. Most times I go back and correct if I notice but this time i was in a rush. Sorry for the confusion! :)

I have two cats- Walter and Tiger. We live the in the country so they have their own cat door and can come and go at that leisure. Hence, comment above. :) Tiger is 11 and Walter is 4. Both very loving cats but tolerate each other at best. My son is Walter’s human. He just loves him to pieces. You can always tell when it is time for my son to come home from school because Walter gets all “meowing” and just can’t wait for him to burst thru the door. Me - I am just good for giving him fresh water and food multiple times a day and am lucky to get even a purr - lol. Tiger is a complete hunter and brings us all kinds of surprises “gifts” on the porch. He is my loyal companion and follows me around the house during the day. ;)
Truly enjoying these posts!

If I had a cat door, I would probably have the family of raccoons that live somewhere close by walking into the house. Can't take a chance on that! lol

We've been lucky with our pet doors. Never had anything except maybe a few extra bugs wander in.

For parties we used to just leave a sign on the front door instructing people to come on in to the party and leave the door unlocked. Everyone invited to the party knew to come through to the back yard if it was that kind of party. Anyone see where this is going? One year for my Chihuahua's birthday fiesta I see a couple of people standing in our living room so I go in to see who it is because I dont recognize them. Two Jehovah's Witnesses were out doing their thing. I was a little surprised that they came in given that they werent invited to the party. I think they were even more surprised that they ended up at a dog's birthday party (and that it was so well attended). They couldnt leave fast enough. LOL

The cat door is in our sunroom which used to be a patio before we closed it in and built a deck. We still have a main door to the house in the sunroom that they have to wait at before they come into the main part of the house if that makes sense. Knock on wood, we have not had any other visitors come in the sunroom. ;)

Yesterday's questions: Pets

This is Flynn. He was my Father's Day present in 2015, but is actually a mamma's dog. Border/beagle mix. Incredibly smart and neurotic. 5 years old last week.

This is Krypto. She is our son's dog. 2 1/2 year old yellow dudley (pink eyes, pink nose) lab Still acts like a puppy. Smart but easily excitable. Very cuddly

Wheel o' Movies landed on The Matrix recently. So we watched that. Then decided to modify the Wheel o' Movies rule and watched The Matrix: Reloaded and The Matrix: Revolutions back to back last night.

Next up: Coco

I smile everytime I see your 'wheel o movies' posts. Do you literally have a wheel, or do you have all the names of movies on paper and just draw them out of a hat. Just wondering how you choose them. We have a ton of movies, both watched and unwatched that we need to get thru!

Films get added to the list by members of the family.

Film is then picked with this: https://wheelofnames.com/

After they are watched they are removed.

I know this is yesterday's question but I have to hop in for it! Hubs and I have a mixed breed dog that was born around the time we met, we adopted him from a shelter when they claimed he was six months and only twenty pounds. Well they said he was a sharpei mix and wouldn't get a bit over forty pounds. Here's a pic to show you how genius the people at my shelter are, BTW he's seventy eight pounds now and thirteen years old:

Sharpei mix. Sure. He's the king of lounging now. Old and grumpy and eagerly awaiting warm weather. I think when we got a pet was when we both realized we were serious. It was also when I got into college so he was our stress relief dog during my degrees and Hubs post graduate work. He's also in reality a shiba inu mix which is a bloodline that carries a high risk of epilepsy. His first seizure was when he was two and he's still going strong and alive. Something I'm incredibly thankful for.

Other than him there's two evil cats who own most of the house (and love the hubs, not me) and my rats. The rats were a result of me staying late on youtube watching funny animal videos, mostly ferrets. I loved them and set to research. Turns out ferrets wouldn't be a great fit for me, but in the research I found out about pet rats. They're intelligent, funny, cuddly, gentle, I wish I'd known about them at times in my life I needed more companionship. We have seven now all started by the pet shop rat we were never planning on getting and simply went in to handle and look at so I'd know what rats were like in person. The shop was full of a group of screaming unsupervised kids poking things, taking birds out and letting them loose, trying to hold five ferrets at once... and this lone male rat, TINY because we found out his litter was bottle fed, was sitting there, terrified. I had to lift up his hide to get him out. He froze and I just looked at the hubs who had made me swear we were adopting no one that day. I was not leaving without getting that rat. Best decision ever. He now has friends and a 400$ cage, good food, regular cuddles. I get such a short time with him but the rest of his life will be with us. He's 1 year old now and flourishing. Here's a pic of him with some of my mischief coming out for cuddles:

Pets? We have two puppers. The first is Roscoe (aka- Rosc, Roscoe P. Coltrane, Roco, Grumpypants). He is an 8-year-old Brittany we rescued several years ago, and he is much more "cat" in personality than dog. He demands the rump scratches, but you need to go to him. He is incredibly smart, but stubborn as a mule. When he decides it is snuggle time, he's incredibly sweet, but after a couple of minutes, he is no longer interested, and is gone in a flash.

Our younger pup, my avatar, is Ollie (aka- Oliver, Doofus, Oxen-free, Mikey-butt). He is a 4-year-old German shorthair that we've had since he was a puppy. He is the happiest dog I have ever had, with his perpetual motion tail, and of course we love the very obvious "hidden" mickey on his rump. He is also HUGE for a GSP (he is extremely lean, but clocks in at 82lbs), but thinks he is a lap dog. Ollie is also probably the smartest dog I've ever had (and by far the easiest I have ever trained), but he has an amazingly hilarious derpy streak.

Happy Monday to everyone!

Thank you for the pictures and stories about the pets! I really like to read and see more about everyone even their pets. If you all want to know about my plants, you let me know. I'll share pictures and stories of Herman and Sister lol

Things are fine here today in Indiana. Weather was decent and we "stimulated" the economy by scheduling car services that I haven't really wanted to do (aka too cheap) and I purchased Cheryl's cookies to send out to mom's and grandma for Mother's Day next month. I hear the gluten free are good and all the cookies are in individual wrapped packages to help preserve for more than couple days. I ordered new replacement items for kitchen cooking utensils and so far nothing fun.

Dinner tonight is spicy grilled fish sandwich with sweet potato fries and broccoli slaw.

Gratitude today:
1. Big bang theory reruns. I love this show and can quote tons of it and when I need to just have something on that makes me smile and relax. Same with Friends reruns.
2. I had couple good conversations about upcoming job opportunities. I don't know if or when I'm ready but at least there talk about possible options.
3. I ordered toilet paper on Costco today! I randomly clicking on the items even though it said out of stock and I could order the cottonelle today. I was quite surprised and the whole purchase went through so we will see.

Peace and good health to all

Question of the day: 4/20: Pizza? What's your toppings? What's your favorite place to order from?

Who is pizza person? What's your toppings? Do you make it at home or have favorite take out place?

I don't really like meat on my pizza. I like alot of fresh veggies and no olives. I also love a white pizza with just good cheese and garlic. We have stuffed pizza place here but it's just meh okay...too much stuff for me. I'm finding pizza here in IN is cut in squares with really ground up sausage on it not just pieces like on other pizza styles. It's acquired taste I guess. I also love pizza with grilled chicken, sundried tomatoes, artichokes, red onion and lots garlic on good alfredo sauce. Can you tell I like pizza??

I think I could easily get 90 out of 100 clips of Friends, either fill in the blank or episode names (or description at least).

GL with that tp. Still waiting on Tylonol placed more than a month ago with Costco. Every couple of weeks they extend it out a couple of more weeks.

Me Me Me!!!!

Are you near a Monicals pizza? Whenever we visit my parents in IN we drive the extra hour to get to a Monicals. Have my parents and all my uncles joining us each time now. My husband and i got addicted at Purdue. We like that with tomatoes and dipped in the creamy Italian dressing.

As for other pizzas I tend to stay pure. Just some crust, some sauce (red or pesto or just tomatoes rough cut) and cheese. Maybe some basil if its summer. My husband likes some onion so sometimes we do that. I *so* wanted a pizza oven when we redid the back yard but try as I might I couldnt justify the cost.

I make it and we have several places we like. NY style, wood fired and "beach" pizza. For some reason beach pizza is always bland (I like bland, not knocking it). An odd phenomenon that's held as long as we've been within a couple of blocks of the water. Crust always seems saltier tough. Yum.

Oh, I was at a pecan festival one year and I had the best wood fired dessert pizza. Traditional crust, pecan pie filling, crushed pecans. Wood fired and then finished with a simple icing drip. I dream of having that again some day.

Low carb here, so I make my own pizza casserole.
No crust.
Salami, Italian sausage, mushrooms, bell pepper, red onion, black olives, pizza sauce topped with mozzrella.

Tonight. DH smoked ribs, apple salad and collard greens.
87 degrees today

Cool and gray, a bit of sun. I was a bit disappointed but not surprised to learn my dentist's office is closed. I was told to call back at the end of May to schedule my cleaning. I am truly so Blessed to have both a healthy smile and such a kind dentist. He knows my coming in every couple months for short cleanings work so well for me (TMJ-wise). So, this will hopefully only add 1 month on. I pray for all who are in immediate need of dentist or doctor that you do get seen. I also drove my Dad up to the bank. I realized it was the first time in almost 2 weeks both my car and I had been out (other than watering out front). It felt good but also odd...I admit to being glad when I got home. I am definitely thankful car is A-Okay and as someone shared yesterday, I believe, this day is also another day of Grace to be healthy! So no complaints!

Some other Monday positives:

I got 12 cans of Campbell's Chicken Broth in the mail from Amazon. I know this may seem odd but when it was ordered a few weeks ago, store stock was slim to none. I expect the second 12 cans in a day or so.

By God's Grace first and foremost always along with stamp generosity from 2 friends, the last batch of cards I had been working on was sent out. 100 cards (with some postcards mixed in) to church friends. Joy to do and I truly pray brings cheer and reminder to each person of Jesus' care to them always.

I was able to use credit on Oriental Trading+ Free Shipping on Any order (As an FYI to anyone interested this offer is through tomorrow) That was fun.

Pizza for me is just cheese no sauce! I am not a tomato sauce person. I kind of like alfredo sauce on pasta but have never tried it on pizza.

Hugs to all for a good evening!

Actually not a fan of pizza. Once in a great while we'll get a Brooklyn style pizza from Domino's, but that's about it. If we make homemade, we use naan bread for our crust. I don't like veggies on my pizza either. Just pepperoni, sausage and hamburg for me
