Quarantine and chill and kindness chatty clubhouse: Jump in and join the conversation! All is welcome!

Good night, everyone thread save with love.

Over the rest of the year, God willing, I pray to work on being able to move forward with the book God put into my heart and some of dear you contributed too. I have not forgotten about that and thank you all for your encouragement, faith, and of course contributions. I would still appreciate some stories from 2 paragraphs+ Or should any of you be willing to write one paragraph to add to a story that would be fantastic. I could also use editing help. I'm not sure the friend who had originally volunteered to help with editing stories is still able to do so.

Picture note. Should any of dear you have a picture of a beach at sunrise, especially one that shows a close up of the water I would appreciate that tremendously. Also, anyone have a budding young artist grandchild perhaps? I need one kid-drawn picture of either the child's dog and the dog's name or a favorite stuffed animal dog, teddy bear, rabbit of the child and the animal's name. The child's name will NOT be included due to privacy so please do not be concerned about that. Should you wish, I would be happy to say for example a pet dog picture was drawn by "M, age 6." (For Minnie, age 6," or something similar) Thank you all so much. Please PM me about this. Extra hug!

Good morning. It is again rainy this morning. There are supposed to be some breaks but mainly rain and some thunderstorms. I am back to work today which means a busy week of catch up. I am glad I did several hours over the weekend to get started. I like to go on vacation but coming back to chaos is not fun. Kenny said Clifford is on the mend. The scrape is healing well and they can take off the cone now and then before he goes after it again. Jeff and Aimee are back safely from WDW. Walking today will most likely be on a treadmill at the gym. I will just have to see how the weather goes.

Have a good day.

Hey Tina! Your night sounds cozy with quiche and green beans. AJ and the Queen is a fun choice—I love RuPaul! I’m juggling a couple of shows too. Lately, I’ve been into cooking random stir-fries.

Aloha.!

Trying not to count the days until we have to leave, but I'm already sad. Today we're taking the tour of Koaloa Ranch. It's where parts of Jurassic Park, Lost, and Hawaii Five O (the rebooted one) were filmed. We have reservations for a sunset dinner cruise tonight.

We're beat by the time we crash at night, but we've tried to do as much as we can, while still trying to slow down and enjoy the island atmosphere.

Everything is going well at home according to Summer. The cats come running when they hear her coming in the door, so I guess they're surviving, lol

Have a great day

Aw, I'm sorry about that, my friend! Perhaps you will be able to all reunite sooner than a year from now and can take a few pictures then :)

Quiet evening here. Dad extra prayers appreciated for an appointment tomorrow and another Thursday. Thanks, dear friends so much.

Lynn Your trip sounds amazing. So glad you are having a great time.

Good morning. It is not raining this morning for a change. The sun did come out a bit yesterday but then we got thunderstorms in the evening. Today it is supposed to be sunny with temps around 70. I did go to the gym yesterday to do the treadmill. It is an effort to get to the gym but once there I do like getting exercise. Today I think I will go walk at the lake and commune with nature. I am slowly catching up at work. I had my weekly meeting with my boss and she totally understands where I am at as her usual day is like that. So that helps. I am so glad we went on the cruise when we did. The NCL Gem did not get into Bermuda until Monday due to the hurricane that hit Bermuda over the weekend. They will only have 2 days on Bermuda and we had 3. Thankfully Bermuda did not have alot of damage and they could use the rain they got for their water cisterns.

Have a good day.

We did get a light shower this morning down where I am. One cat braved it anyway for a couple of minutes in order to nibble on some grass, but we came in pretty quickly. The other cat decided to wait for later. I will walk on the treadmill here and get some laundry started.

Good Morning All!

I've kinda been MIA for the past few weeks. Keeping up with the posts, just not posting myself. I'm kind of in a funk at work. I go on interviews for the next level for my position and afterwards I just sit there and think "there wasn't one job duty that I enjoy doing". I don't want to stay here b/c when my director has one of her tantrums, I'm usually the one who gets blamed or pays the price. I just don't know what I want to do and I feel like I'm at the age where it's too late to start over with something new. Oh well, I'll just suck it up and come to work.

Went on my girls trip a few weeks ago. We had a lot of fun. Layed out by the pool all day, ordered dinner to be delivered, and then watched the Olympics. We weren't close enough to walk anywhere and since we didn't rent a car, we were sort of stuck in the condo at night. On the Wednesday that we were there, we had tickets for the After Hours Party at Hollywood Studios. That was a lot of fun. We Ubered over to Disney Springs for dinner, jumped on the bus to Riviera Resort, and then took the Skyliner to the Studios. The party was 9:30-12:30 but we were allowed in at 7:00, we ended up getting there at 7:10. We just walked around and popped in the shops, got our shopping out of the way before the party started. We started riding rides at 9:00 and in 3 1/2 hours we got on every ride. I think our longest wait was 15 minutes for Rock'n Rollercoaster.

Missed my little Mia so I picked her up from daycare the following week and we went to the park and I got her dinner at McDonald's.

The dogs did fine at the boarding kennel, they were happy to see me when I picked them up. I stopped at Dunkin on the way home and got them pup cups. The boys all took turns coming over to feed the cats and water my plants. Happy to report that my tomatoes are still growing so they did a good job watering.

Other than that, I've just been working. I picked up a job a couple of nights during the week for about 4 hours each at Kohls. I've been doing that since June. My property taxes just about doubled so the extra money helps.

Snowysmom - glad you had a nice cruise. Sounds like you really lucked out with the weather.

Lynxstch - nice to hear that you're enjoying Hawaii. What a beautiful place to see.

That's about it. Have a great day!

Good morning.

The tour yesterday was cool. We recognized so many places that we've seen on the shows and in the movies.
Cruising on the ocean while enjoying dinner and the sunset was so relaxing. We managed to get a seat outside at the deck tables, made it even nicer. The only thing that spoiled it was a few people inside letting their kids run rampant after dinner.

Today is the day we've been waiting for. It was the first thing that went on our list of things that we HAD to do. We're taking the Hawaii Five O tour. We get to see McGarrett's house, meet "Flippa", the cousin of Kamekona from the show, and have lunch. We're both huge fans of the show, and especially of Alex O'Loughlin. We were hoping for a glimpse of him somewhere around town, but the closest we got was finding his house and taking a few pictures from a distance, lol. No one seemed to be around. I'd probably pass out if I did see him, but it would take this trip over the top.

Nice to see you @footballmouse Sometimes we all need a break, glad you got yours.

Have a great day everyone.

Lynn, I continue to be so truly thankful to God that you are enjoying your trip. I hope today was truly fun.

I'm also extra grateful to God l, Footballmouse for your own trip. ITA with Lynn about needing a change of scene or break. As far as work, keep it in prayer. What are some of your hobbies? What would you enjoy doing or studying? You can do it! Let God lead you always is my best and most sincere suggestion. Be happy. Take care!

Dad, I'm updating to share, received wonderful news at his doctor's visit. We are truly blessed and so grateful to God. All quiet here. Have a happy afternoon, friends.

Footballmouse We all need some down time and a break now and then. Work issues can be so draining. Sometimes something turns up when we least expect it. I hope you find that job that speaks to you. Maybe you could look into some certificate programs that interest you and maybe use the skills you have now.

Good morning. It is 54 here right now and heading to the upper 60s. I love this weather. Yesterday I was actually a bit chilly in the AM and had to wear a jacket when walking. I wish it would stay around. I have been feeling lately like I would really like to retire but I know I need to keep busy with work for the foreseeable future. I just get sad that Chris and I were supposed to be retired together now and all the plans we had. There is volunteer work in this area but not enough to take up the same amount of time that work does. On the plus side my boss tentatively said that I may not have to come into the office every week. The only reason I go in is to do a deposit that takes 10-15 minutes to do. She said she can do it. I told her if I could just come in every other week as well as times when she couldn't come in, I would be happy with that. She is going to ask the big boss. I need to go in tomorrow and next week as I scheduled a dentist appt for next week and my dentist is in that area. But after that I would love to go to just every other week. Fingers crossed!

Have a good day.
