Good morning. It was cloudy earlier, but the sun is coming out. I made a small batch of potato salad to have with a burger on the grill tonight. I went out and weeded and mulched the other long flower bed on the side of the front steps, then weeded and mulched the Magnolia. I'm quitting before my back tells me to today, and I'm not going to feel guilty if I don't do anything else outside (or maybe inside) today. I've earned a break.

I may not have the strength or energy I had in my younger days, but I'm not going to stop doing things until I can't do them myself anymore.
Watched Survivor last night, another crazy tribal, and another person who didn't use their head and play their idol.

Ugh, I was so mad at him!!!!!!

Super nice outside today, low 50's but sunny. Just came in from cleaning up the backyard and I have a short sleeve shirt on and it felt nice out.

Took Mitchell to take his driver's test. He let his license expire so he had to retake the test, thankfully he passed.

Mia is walking! Bailey sent me a video today, they went to the library to get Mia a library card and she was walking around. She liked the hopscotch rug so she kept going back to that.

I had a dr's appointment this morning. I've had more than a few episodes of being dizzy during the day and at night the room just spins. She said I have vertigo, most likely from the cold I had a couple of weeks ago. She said it usually lasts for a couple of weeks but she called in a perscription for me to help me make it through the night.

Watched Survivor last night, not happy with who was voted out. It was his own fault, should have played his idol. Next I watched The Amazing Race, kinda predicted who was going home, they got lost every week. I started off watching the Reds game last night but switched over b/c they were losing, wouldn't you know they came back and won. They're playing an afternoon game now so I'm watching that. I'll catch up on my YouTube videos tonight. Thursday night is a boring night for television for me.

Made myself some pork chops last night. I ate one last night and will have the other tonight. My grill wouldn't light (guess I'm out of propane) so I ended up putting them in the airfryer. They were really good.

Going to wrap it up here, have a great rest of the day.

Feeling frustrated here still waiting to hear back from health care related people. I have reached out to Dr. S's office directly asking them for at home P/T recommendations. I am not finding any via google. The one company I did reach out, after a couple of days told me yesterday to give her another day or two. Either their company has a therapist skilled in podiatry in my area or they don't. I don't understand what is so hard about determining that! God-willing, I simply pray to have a normal and healthy summer. My feet issues have been ongoing now for 8 monthsEnough! I am not intending to complain. I pray I have been of good, faithful spirit and kind witness throughout. God willing I would sure love to be fully recovered. Thank you all always for all your ongoing prayers and love.

The big chunk of the tree is gone. Dave pulled in with his trailer, and no chain saw. He said he was going to roll it onto the trailer. A 3500 lb tree trunk? Good luck. I'll be darned but he did it. He tied straps around it and a chain and kept tightening them and inch by inch it moved, as soon as it was over the tired, he pulled once and it rolled right on. Dave Jr is going to come back with his big chain saw and cut the stump down to the ground as far as it can go. One more thing off the to do list!

Good morning. It is 31 here now with temps heading into the 50s. I was in the office yesterday. We had an in person group meeting. It was nice to see everyone. It is nice that it is brighter in the sky when I drive to the office. By the time I get there it is light out. I appreciate that. I went to the lake to walk yesterday. There were swans in the lake but no heron this time. I am looking for a new suitcase for trips. I have one that Chris always used and it makes me sad to look at it never mind use it. Kenny asked to borrow a suitcase for our cruise so I told him I would give him this one to keep. It is in great shape and the wheels still work well. I am going to get one like it for me in a different color. My Minnie suitcase is way too big for me to handle myself. I may give that to Jeff for the girls. Tomorrow I get my hair cut. I will have to tell her not too short. She gets talking and by the time I look at it is too short.

Good morning, all! A bit tired here because we had a late night and an early morning, but the reason for the late night was a speaker at DH's Lodge. - She gave a really good presentation about Louisa Adams (John Quincy Adams' wife - everyone knows about Abigail, but not her). It was very informative, and we had a good turnout.

DS had to leave for work really early, and DH is getting ready now, so once he's on his way, I will be a human pillow to one of the cats for a while, and then get moving myself to run some errands when things open at 9:00.

Happy Friday Morning!

Going to be a beautiful day today . I think we might get rain sometime this weekend but I'm not sure when. I have to work nightshift this weekend so I'll either be at work or sleeping.

Stopped at Hobby Lobby last night. I went in looking for the Highland 4th of July cows but my location didn't have them. I ended up getting some metal critters (a frog & a gecko) for around the pond . I also got a Cardinal to put near the bird bath out back.

That's about it, in the office today so I should probably start working. Have a great day!

I actually found a suitcase at Nordstrom Rack that was perfect for my needs, and they had a great selection - I was surprised! It was actually the first time I had been in this store.

Good morning. Calling for cloudy today, rain tomorrow, then a huge warm up. Temps near 90 for Sunday and Monday. Nothing like wacky weather.

Going to try and finish up the weeding and mulching. Just have 7 individual bushes that need to be done. I'm actually hoping for rain tomorrow so I can clean inside and start going through the yard sale stuff

Lily's senior prom is tomorrow night. Never fails that it rains.

Going to get myself moving so I can get done.

Thread save with love and sweet dreams to all. Grace of God I did find a mobile physical therapy company. I am expecting to have my initial consultation (history of feet issues) virtually next week. The following week will be my first in person appointment here at home. Definitely a positive step forward at last. God willing more to come next week. I did email Karen, the lady I spoke with (I am thinking she is a receptionist), a history to share with the therapist before we meet. I figure that will save time and make our visit more productive, too.

Dad and I are supposed to head to Anaheim two weeks from tomorrow. Our first Disneyland day was to be my birthday, May 12th. After the initial consultation next week, I should have a better idea about that. I absolutely believe in God's time and way we will go if it is Will. Anything of course can still happen in two weeks. I just want to be positive we don't lose any of the money we spent on these tickets. We have 3 Day SoCal Resident Tickets which cost $275 (Disneyland only--we have zero interest in CA Adventure) at one park a day. This offer is valid through June 2nd. A regular 3 Day, one park ticket is $390 HUGE difference. Not that $275 is "cheap," quite the opposite. All of you know what I mean. God's Grace alone He made it possible for us to save and family and friends completely out of the kind blue (well not quite as called by Him, of course) to make these tickets possible. Same with our hotel stay. Extra reason we would only want to go when we both were completely healthy. I have sure learned also to not rush healing! I absolutely would want to be as positive as I could be that I sincerely was (and dad, of course, too) back to normal and had been for a while.

Folks in the Disneyland section have been so kind to share suggestions and information on rescheduling. From that thread, I learned that last year, Disneyland offered a similar promotion the one currently going on now during late Summer and early Fall. Dad and I most likely would not want to go then due to HEAT. I would rather go during Candlelight weekend! I also am not sure either of us would feel comfortable pandemic wise going at that time of year. I am not in any way a traditional Halloween fan and have zero interest in going in the Fall and seeing those decorations. I will reach out directly to Disneyland next week about optons. What a blessing to have them! Should we need to we might just need to wait until 2025 to see God willing I will be celebrating a milestone birthday next year so that might make for an extra special trip. Any time we are able to go will mean more than I can say because it will indicate we both have the health to go period. When really isn't important when I remember and give God thanks for that

Good morning. 35 here now and heading into the upper 50s today. I took a walk. Now I am heading out to the hairdresser. She is only about 30 minutes away, somewhat where Chris and I used to live, so not too bad. She is worth the ride. If I get back in time I want to go the see Kenny's kids play baseball. Kenny coaches. If not I will try again next week. I went to walk at the lake yesterday but no heron. There were lots of swans. I hope to go back today to walk.

Good rainy Saturday morning. Supposed to stop around noon and get to 65. Tomorrow we get to upper 80's. I'm hoping that it stops and dries out a bit so they can go and take pictures before prom. Summer is bringing Lily and her boyfriend over this afternoon so I can see them.

I'm actually glad to see the rain, it means I don't have to do anything outside. I'm going to start inside by stripping the bed, washing the bedroom windows and then dusting and vacuuming. Then I'll do the bathrooms. After that I'll decide if I want to do more or just take the day off.
I want to watch the post positions for the Kentucky Derby too. I caught up on some tv last night. NCIS HI, SWAT, Elsbeth and Farmer Wants A Wife. That one is dumb, but I watched the rest of the season so I may as well finish it. Only one more episode I think,

Starting to feel better on day 4 of my antibiotic.

Today is first communion for my oldest granddaughter. I'm not able to make it. Still too weak but the pain has subsided mostly. I hate missing milestones.

My DSis and her Honey will be coming tomorrow for a ham late lunch. Tom and I leave on Wednesday for three nights in Puerto Rico and then a DCL cruise to FL. We are looking forward to being on the Magic!

@Judique , we mostly book standard view one bedrooms at BWV, not studios for the most part, now days. It’s not as difficult as studios. I too never thought I would be renting out reservations, but our DS’s family had to cancel a stay, and renting was the way I was able to use the borrowed points. They are building a house and it’s taking longer and is more expensive.

I hope everyone has a nice day. I have housework to do. Our DS & DDiL will be staying in our house for a few days before we get home from our vacation, so we have to get the guest bedroom ready for them!

Bobbiwoz I hope you have a nice cruise.

Good morning. It is 43 now and heading to near 60 today. Tomorrow it is supposed to be in the 70s. I have been awake since 4:30 so I just got out of bed and started the day. My mind just wouldn't stop so I gave up trying to sleep. I got my hair cut yesterday and she did not cut it too short thankfully. Yesterday I went for a walk at the lake with Kenny, GF, and his dog. It was a nice day with a bit of a breeze. I also am starting to get ready for my trip. I have out the shorts I am taking along, shirts, and other essentials. The toiletries are sorted and replaced as needed. Heading out to Hannafords in a bit to pick up a few items.
