Quality Inn on Manchester - How far to walk?

We're staying at the Quality Inn on Manchester (thanks to Priceline) next week and wondering how far the walk is to the main entrance? It's behind the Fairfield Inn; can you cut across there or do you need to walk all the way around on Manchester (by the HoJo)? I know there's the ART too, but just trying to get a feel for the walk. TIA.

I didn't find anyway to cut across; we had to walk all the way around near Hojo. The walk isn't too bad, but the part after you get onto Manchester feels long at midnight. I'd stay there again.

Thanks Star. I looked at Google Earth and it looks like there's a fence between the two hotels. Google walking directions say 8 minutes, but I think that is a little optimistic. Thanks for your opinion about the hotel, too. This is our first time at this Quality Inn.
