We're needing a hotel to stay in for one night at the end of our trip, when we're doing Universal.

Have any of you here stayed at Quality in at International Drive? Right now they have a price of $59 which includes some sort of summer survival package. :confused3 I figure it's probably a sample of sunscreen and a bandaid or something. Anyway, the hotel lists shuttle service to Universal. I'm wondering how reliable that is and what the hotel is like, in general. We don't need anything fancy at all, but would like a clean room.

TIA!

I stayed at a Quality Inn about 3 times on I drive and loved it. The room/grounds are really simple, but clean and fine for us for a one week stay. I loved the mini mart on property. We always got a juice and muffin, sat at the table and chairs outside for a quick breakfast before heading to the parks. There is a restaurant on property that serves a buffet for breakfast and dinner..its decent. The pool is large..but again, simple..no fancy slides etc. The location is superb. walking distance to a million restaurants, shopping etc.. I rented a car, but saw shuttles there all the times. They come and go frequently.

I almost booked a room there for my upcoming trip. My flight gets into MCO at 7:30pm and I needed a one night stay before heading to the Poly for 9 nights. I ended up using Priceline and opted for a Downtown Disney location. I got one for $40. There was an I Dr option too via priceline. If youre only going to be there one night, it may be worth it to bid on the unknown!!

I think there are 2 Quality Inns on I Dr. I stayed at the one at 9000 I Dr.

Think 9000 international dr is the Quality Inn Plaza, which is the one closer to Seaworld, and the other one Quality Inn International (7600 I think) is on the corner of Sand Lake Rd behind the largest McDonald's. Never stayed at the Plaza but have been twice to International that we found value for money, clean and friendly. Has two pools and the restaurant is quite good to.

As of right now we are booked at the one on 9000 International Drive...got the travelzoo rate for a total of $337 for 7 nights! This is off of their site...

ATTENTION: After completing an 10 million dollar renovation project and attaining the AAA three diamond rating, we are happy to announce Quality Inn Plaza will be changing our name to Rosen Inn at Pointe Orlando on October 1, 2010. If you are checking in after that date; please look for our new name and signs when you arrive in Orlando.

Has anyone stayed here recently? Would love some fresh reviews! TIA

As prior poster pointed out there are two large Quality Inns on International Dr. We have stayed at both and both are perfectly fine.
