Have any of you stayed at this motel by Disneyland. If so, what is your opinion on it? Looking at the 2 queen suite for a family of 5.

I haven`t stayed at the one on Katella but I have stayed at the Quality Inn on S. Manchester. It is clean and safe, nice people. They serve a free continental breakfast. Short walk to the park. I like it quiet so I always ask for a room away from the pool and on the second floor so I don`t have someone walking on my ceiling. You can hear them if on the first floor. They once gave me a room closest to the freeway. I told the desk it was too noisy and they switched me to a quieter location.

We've stayed there a few times. It was a good walk since you could cut through the Grand, but now you can't, so the walk will be longer as you'll have to get to DTD some other way and walk the entire length of it.

The hotel is a bit outdated, compared to the one on Manchester. But it was clean and they were friendly. Breakfast is pretty good for free. It includes make your own waffles and some precooked egg and meat patties if you want a breakfast sandwich. There's also traditional fruit and pastries. The pool is in the middle of the motel, rather than in a parking lot, which is nice. The rooms are decent size.

We had an experience here where we stayed when it was super rainy (back in 2014). We checked out on our checkout morning and went to the parks, but got drenched. When we got back they let us use an empty room to change in. It was very nice considering we'd already checked out.
