Quality Clothing, Reasonable Prices?

I have 3 dds, and while we do hand-me-downs, I like to get something for each of my girls b/c it doesn't seem fair to just buy for my oldest. However, I have become so used to buying clothes at the end of season for the next year, that I just can't stomach paying $10 and up per one item of clothing and then x 3 b/c of the 3 girls. I'm talking like 3.99 and under with coupon discounts on top of that.

I have missed a lot of the clearances though b/c I am trying not to shop (which I have succeeded at), but at the same time, in my town, if you blink, you miss the sales b/c they are gone quick.

I can't seem to find any reasonable prices on clothing that doesn't wear out and is at least decent clothing. I echo that sentiment for clothes for me. I almost never buy clothes for myself and I am tired of feeling frumpy. I really would love to dress up my dds in cute little outfits too, but clothes are so expensive.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how you shop for clothes and where? What kind of prices do you find? What kind of quality? What places do you like/not like?

Thanks for the info.

For great children's clothes at decent prices, you can't beat The Children's Place. They always have great clearance racks and they mail out coupons (if you don't have one, just ask the cashier and they'll put in the code for you).

For women's clothing, I have no clue. I'm not a great shopper for myself. I don't like trying on clothes or going from one store to the next. If I had my way, I would live in sweats and Ts. Unfortunately, I have to work and have to dress decently. If I see something nice at a store and it's on sale or clearance, I'll buy it. I don't go out of my way, though.

We have a store where I live called Bealls Outlet that sells brand names cheap. It has a "sister store" called Burke's Outlet. Also Ross & TJ Maxx are where I find a lot of good deals for the kids (and myself). I too refuse to pay so much for clothing. Children's Place is a good place for size 14 and down but that is as high as they go so my DD has outgrown the store:( I also find many new & gently used items at our Goodwill store. I like to support the Goodwill because their mission is helping people find, get & keep jobs. Hope that helps!

I got Gymboree shirts and shorts/skorts for DD at the outlet for $3.50 each. And I got her some at the regular store for $2.40 each as well; they were $2.99 with a 20% off coupon. I "splurged" on some burmuda jean shorts for $6.40, though.

I also got my DS some 6 shirts at Children's Place for .99 cents each. You maybe a little late on the summer sales, though. But things usually come up throughout the year if you look. Good luck; I hate spending lots on clothes, but I like quality items, too.

For you, try Sears with the Lands End stores. They have great quality and should be going on super sale soon. Sometimes like $4-6 shirts and $8-10 shorts...

I agree with a PP about The Children's Place. Their clearance deals are awesome.

Marshall's has some decent kids' (and adult) clothes at reasonable prices. Sometimes you have to pick through the stuff. If you have the time and don't mind doing it, it might work for ya.
