A first for me with 4 direct contracts: today I received a call from the DVC Quality Assurance team (didn't even know such a thing existed), asking if I had any questions about my recent purchase or any comments or concerns. The caller, Michael, acknowledged that was a current owner, but that if I had any questions about the closing process, etc. that I could call him on his direct line. No pitch, just what on its face would appear to be a pretty straightforward customer care follow up call. I was pleasantly surprised, and I hope it is a sign of increased staffing and a return to more personalized care.

I got one in July and assumed everyone got one but the folks here did not know what I was talking about. As a new buyer they insisted we go over the restrictions again and dues.

I have received calls from them as well with direct purchases. They were very pleasant and professional. I suspect that they they are tasked with internally assessing DVC customer/sales rep interactions not only from a quality, but also from a legal perspective. I’m not sure if these are triggered by the nature of the purchase (point size, number of contracts purchased/owned, tenure of sales representative, etc.) or are random (or both). They definitely know the contract language and can make corrections. They also seem to be promptly involved if there is any question of incorrect processing or documentation in the contract creation process.
