QS Suggestions for VIP Tour Lunch

Planning an upcoming VIP tour. We won’t spend time at TS during the tour, but might need more than pretzels and ice cream bars for lunch.

So are there any recommended QS places that are good and have food that would be easier to eat quickly or while standing or even walking? Like, a sandwich would be easier to eat on the go than an enchilada plate, for example.

Open to suggestions in any park since I’m not yet sure where we will be at lunchtime.

We just did whatever we were near - in this case, Faifax Fair and Rosie’s down by Tower of Terror. Everyone just got their food, and the guide saved us a table. He got his own food, despite my offering to buy. we were just looking for quick, and this fit the bill.

I’ll leave specific recommendations to others but one thing we’ve done to save some time is to time a mobile order during your travel between parks. For example, we were going from DHS to MK. We entered a mobile order for Tomorrowland Terrace as we left DHS backstage and it was ready right around the time we were walking into MK from the backstage area (which is close to the TT restaurant). I don’t think Tomorrowland Terrace is open regularly but the same concept can apply to other options. Just a thought.

We did feel like sitting down and eating though vs eating on the run.

Guides will also have suggestions depending on your tour approach / parks you are in at the time. We also found starting at 11A on a big breakfast - kept us going with only the need for snacks along the way - with a final drop by the guide to our dinner reservation by 7-8P - no small children in our group - so its clearly based on your circumstances and needs.

We tried not to waste any time waiting/eating during our tours. Started with a big breakfast and then just grabbed a pretzel, etc. during the day as we walked around. We ate dinner after the tour. Our guides had snacks and waters in the van as well. We ate en route to each park.

QS food in MK is...dismal. I'm not a fan of Pecos Bill's, despite what most folks say. RIP to BOG QS Breakfast and Lunch. The Egg Roll cart right by Adventureland's entrance though.....SHEESH! They're so good.

QS in Epcot is PLENTIFUL. IMO, you can stop anywhere in World Showcase. I love France's QS food the best.

QS in DHS is alright. Woody's is decent but not the "nicest" food (grilled cheese, tater tots, etc). Heard good things about Docking Bay 7 in Batuu, but never ate there.

QS in Animal Kingdom - def Satuli Canteen! And if you need to rest, get appetizers at Nomad Lounge and sit in their very comfy chairs. Skip Yak & Yeti's QS, it's below average Chinese food. I haven't had Flame Tree BBQ recently, but they have big portions.

I've never done a VIP tour so I'm not sure how much or how little time you'll have. I hope y'all have so much fun!! I speak for everyone when I say we are JEALOUS! 😅 😍

We always grab a package of the "hawaiian rolls", some turkey, ham and other fixins, make little sandwiches the put them back in the bag they came in and dropped in a backpack. Perfect for smaller kids that never eat all their food anyway and no stopping.

Ronto wraps in hs’s galaxy’s edge

I've done ronto wraps, and woody's, and the egg roll cart as quick things to eat. In general, for a VIP tour, I generally eat a big breakfast (either at hotel or in park), and during tour just snacks (in the past, you would get some snacks from the VIP tour guide), and dinner right after tour ends.

Maybe not an option for everyone, but the chicken waffle sandwich at sleepy hollow is really good for a QS style lunch option

We haven't done a VIP tour either, but I think the idea is to spend as little time as possible for sitting and eating. The tours are hundreds of dollars per hour--a half hour to stop and eat is $$$.

From the Disney website:
"All Private VIP Tours must be booked for a minimum duration of 7 continuous hours"

I'm sure there are people whose goal is to see how many attractions they can fit in during the tour. But I suspect there are other people who might need to sit down and eat a meal during that length of time.

We did A tour a year ago. When we got hungry, we ate quick service. Our goal was to enjoy ourselves, which included not being hangry. On the other hand, we opted to meet the guide at the park and not be picked up at hotel; that transport time counts.
