hi!
wdw newbie here trying to figure out how things will work for us.

We have reservations for 8am breakfast for several of our park days. How is it exactly that we get in early for that? do we just bring a copy of the confirmation and show it to someone at the front? will it be clear who to show it to? how early can we expect to be admitted?

also, one morning we'll be going to akershus for the princess breakfast. My adult sons decided to pass on the experience but we'll all be arriving in one car. will they allow my sons to enter the park early with the 3 of us or will they need to hang out outside the gate till rope drop?

I can't answer all your questions but I can answer a few:)
Yes, at the front you show your reservation to a cast member who will let you in for your reservation. I believe we were let in at 7:50 for an 8 am reservation at both MK and AK.
I believe at AK the line was off to the right and a cast member was letting people in. I do not remember if there was a sign or anything though.

There will be a separate line in the morning for those that have breakfast ADRs in the park. Your name will be on a list and they will cross check it to make sure you're not just trying to get in early. Not that you could do anything because nothing's open that early.

As for the rest of your party, they would most likely have to wait outside until regular opening.

Thanks for the information regarding how early entry into the park for an ADR works. It's always nice to know what to expect beforehand. :cutie:
