QS only

Being able to get another drink while eating (with ice control) and then a drink to go is a HUGE plus for us!

We have ended up at Connections because hungry hit when we were on that side of the park. To us it is the best option. Other than a dessert I tried (rare occasion) we have been happy with everything we have gotten. If on other side of park we usually end up at Regal Eagle. Again refillable drinks with huge portions of some good food items. We've tried about every QS in WS and overall they are disappointing. Few weeks ago we ate the Morocco QS (found out Spice Road is closed for lunch) and it was very good. Sad the menu is more limited than it used to be but still a great meal.

I have found you can refill your drinks at Sunshine Seasons and have never been once stopped or asked what I was doing when I filled the cups for a 2nd or 3rd time.

Another vote for Columbia Harbor House in MK (and I second sitting upstairs by a window!) I think it's our favorite QS.

I have found you can refill your drinks at Sunshine Seasons and have never been once stopped or asked what I was doing when I filled the cups for a 2nd or 3rd time.

Yeah we have once or twice. They don't seem to care ~ I mean if I FILL MY CUP then I should be able to fill it again. You don't want me to then hand me my filled drink.

I travel mostly alone with my son who is disabled and Sunshine is just too much work for me, as are most food courts. And we don't really find the menu appealing, and for him NO french fries in that kind of dining situation can be a deal breaker. He is fine at a table service with no fries, he's not picky, but we have stood in front of that wall menu many times and he just shakes his head no and says "french fries". So glad Connections is there if we are on that side.

Sounds like you have some great reasons to not to go Sunshine Seasons . My kiddo loves Chinese food, so it’s a favorite stop for her and I love getting to get 4 cups of Diet Coke before I head back out into the heat (or a nice trip on Living with the Land). I do think it’s a fairly decent value for the QS credit because they have a decent amount of sides choices and the sorta refillable soda situation.
I live in NJ and we have pretty good pizza so I’ve avoided Connections, but people keep mentioning it’s alright. Where would you rate it on a scale of 1-10?

I totally agree you get value there, especially for credits. They offer some nice hot meals that are a decent replacement for a table service meal. And usually a variety of desserts, more than other spots, if one is a dessert person. Wish they would have something with french fries. But the last time we ate there we both got Chinese and then shared them. It worked out (one window) but most days it is a firm no.

TOTALLY hear you on the cokes! DS does not get soda at home, only when dining out and I always warn servers he will drink as much as they will bring him. I usually whisper to them to switch to diet after the first one. So refillable stations are a huge win for him.

We like a monorail ride to the Poly on a MK day to have pulled pork nachos at Cap't Cooks and then have a Dole Whip at the Pineapple Lanai.

Also a great option if you are checked in and waiting for Trader Sam's. We'll often dine there for much less beforehand.
