QS exchange question

Hi everyone!
If I have the QS plan and a refillable mug to use at the resort; can I substitute the beverage portion of the meal for a dessert?
If this is an ok thing to do, can it be done at the parks as well or just your resort because of the refillable mug? I thought I had read this was doable but I cannot seem to find any info on it now.

Nope. Not at Pop anyways. I was behind someone who tried this last week. You could grab a bottle of water and stash it in your room for later, get OJ, alcohol, milk, or another option that isn’t on the machine.

Some resort food courts will allow it, others will not. No in-park restaurants that I'm aware of will allow it anymore.

Last week we were able to do this at All Star Sports the entire week easily. We were also able to do this at QS’s at GF, Poly, and Contemporary.
