I am trying to decide if I should add the Quick Service Dining Plan for my upcoming trip with my daughter. She is still 9 years old, so the child pricing is awfully tempting. Especially since we will be using many of our snack credits at Epcot for Food & Wine Festival. We currently only have one TS ADR and are planning on mostly eating QS. I just can't decide if this would be a good value or if it would be better for us to just pay OOP for our meals. Advice?

Thanks!

I haven't. I should go do that... Just based on my initial calculations, I'm thinking we'd likely break even at the worst. I've never used snack credits at F&W...is that a good use of credits?

You'll need to scroll through, but the link below is a good review of the items available and has pictures of the menus, so you can see what the prices are like. This is Part 2 of his review, but there is a link to Part 1.

Most of the items are a decent use of snack credits, but you'll need to be careful as not all are. Plan accordingly.

Thanks, y'all. I ended up adding it. We typically don't do DDP, but this will be much more convenient for us!

I think you will not be sorry. You have plenty of options to choose from and I think you will be able to stretch the credits because so many CS meals are large enough to share, especially when you add dessert. My family generally purchases the regular DDP, but if I was traveling with just my DGD I would get the QS plan so we could avoid ADR's and just wing it. I know that we both enjoy those desserts so we would be fine. Your trip sounds FUN!
