Q for the card makers: do you keep a spreadsheet of your completed cards?

Hi Everyone,

I am in the process of making a bunch of Christmas cards (and hope to start some birthday cards soon)... and I'm trying to put together a spreadsheet of some sort to track all the cards I've made, plan to make, list goals/deadlines... but I'm having some trouble with layout, does anyone track their cardmaking in this way?

How do you track all of this?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

I make a ton of cards, but don't keep track of them. Unused, they go in my card box behind the appropriate heading. When they're gone, they're gone. I do keep a print of either the card I 'scraplifted' or a photo of the cards I made when I do a batch of them, in case I want to copy it again.

When I make a card I try to make several copies of it at the same time. What I don't use also goes into a holder (actually it is a CD holder with dividers in it). If I need a card in a hurry, then I pull one from there. I usually always take a picture of the card and now I am posting the pic onto my blog.

I have an art journal for any sketches or ideas that I want to play around with at a later time.
