Hi! We just got back last night from our Jan 31-Feb 5 stay at Pop Century. We are a family of four, and my parents were with us- 6 total. My husband and I often shared meals with my children, 7 and 9. The folks used a voucher each for their meals. We often had too much food even with sharing.

We only had a few "glitches". My mother had asked a CM at the PC food court, if she and Grandpa could get a side of celery and carrots to go with their loaded nacho entrees. The CM checked and was told "Yes" by a manager. Gramma and Grandpa got to the register and the CM there was rude, and insisted that they would have "to put that back!" Mom put it back. Long story short(er), the original CM came up to my mother at the drink island and asked what had happened. I guess she had seen my Mom "putting back" the celery. This CM went and got the sides, brought them to them, and apologized profusely. Rude CM was seen the next day performing janitorial duties, but not working the registers.

One other "glitch": CM at ABC Commissary insisted that DH would have to pay $1 extra, if he got a bottled water. So, DH got a cup of water, instead.

There were many instances where we were given more than the vouchers should have covered, however. DH was given everything he should have gotten with his voucher, plus a sloppy joe kid's meal at PC. He explained to the CM that he was going to pay cash for the kid's meal, but she told him to "consider it a side". Very nice! :D

DH ordered the chicken wrap w/fries at Pecos Bill's, and was given another side of chili cheese fries. I just asked here to have chili and cheese put on the fries that came with the wrap, because I new we would end up with too much food.

At PC they were happy to put chili and cheese on the fries that came with the burgers and hotdogs. DH told them he was using the voucher, and the CMs on the line loaded up the fries. The did the same for my mother and me. Nice! :D

CM at Cosmic Ray's allowed me to get an iced coffee as my beverage and another iced coffee as my dessert! I told him we could only eat so much ice-cream. Nice! :D

Overall, our vouchers worked out perfectly. My folks could order anything they wanted without thinking about the prices. We saved money on every single meal, except the one where DH was given the "free" cup of water at ABC. That bill was less than $10. We saved so much money with the vouchers, that we decided to treat ourselves to the Cape May Clambake on Wednesday evening. :teeth:

Thanks for the voucher report. We use them on every trip too and find that they save us at least $1-$2 on each meal. There are 5 of us (2 adults, 3 small children) and we use 1 voucher at each meal so we have an entree, side, drink and dessert. Then we supplement by ordering 2 more entrees and sometimes another side. We find this is a great way to have just enough food without having to throw any away (because who wants to tote leftovers around the park all day) and, if we're still hungry, we order another entree or side.

It's nice to know that the Q&C are a good deal at PC. I think they are great at Pepper Market, too. Love that Rib Eye w/ the grilled veggies.
