I haven't booked yet because on my test run with tickets in the cart and car rental reservation, in small print it says there will be an additional $585.75 fee due at time of pick up! I emailed Ut and they said, they didn't know what that was, could be insurance or "extras" which I didn't add. Tbh, this person sounded like they have no idea and just made something up. I guess I could call but thought I'd ask here first.
Also, I asked about straight to the garage since I am an Alamo member and she said they couldn't offer that either. Savings is around $500 less than a res thru Alamo.
TIA!

Others have posted that you cannot combine discounts / use front of the line with discounted car rentals

Ok, maybe I shouldn't say because I'm a member. I thought if Alamo had all your info ahead of time, you could go to the garage and skip the counter. It would work in their favor as well, not having a long line.
Also, not trying to use any other discounts. And when I look at other companies on UT, they all add this mysterious fee.

Wow, I should start looking. I did a brief search but the drop off is MCO, not pick up and I didn't see a fee

If something appears too good to be true....Call the vendor. If you're not comfortable don't book

That's funny since this is the exact forum where I learned about the discount offered. I've been on these boards for many years and "the vendor" has always been discussed. In fact, when Covid struck and the parks were shut down, there was a whole thread dedicated to how UT was handling refunds etc. As I said in the OP, I do intend to call the vendor.

The company has been recently added to the banned list, hence the *** when you type the full name.
