That was my last trip. My son was 2.5 and DW and I took turns holding him for his one nap of the day while the other hit the bigger rides. Worked great!I just did this in September (with a 4 year old and a 1 year old) - two splits, short stays - the idea was looking at different resorts to think about a new home add on.
We got very lucky for our first two check ins and had a room before 1pm. Our last check in was touch and go, but it was ultimately a good experience. We did not unpack at any point, and I would not do it again except with the goal of seeing lots of different resorts.
I think it really depends on time of year and your kids. I have heard rumors of kids who can go without a nap or who can nap in a stroller, but those ain’t my kids.
