PVB Tower Charts, Sales Date and more!!!

Here are some Tower photos from today. It looks great! The new palm trees are still standing, the pool isn’t a swamp , they sand bagged the ground floor on the far right hand side of the building. maybe they were worried about water coming up from bay lake, but it doesn’t seem like it came up very far. Moana got all wrapped up snugly

That’s what I’ve seen. I think DVC lines open at 9 am EST for bookings on OCT 15th for existing poly points.

Anyone know what you are allowed to book with new points on the 15th… can you book two tower studios if available? Or will there be a limit? If there isn’t enough tower availability will they allow booking the longhouses?

They can’t limit booking of any declared inventory as it has to be FCFS.

How things will play out with the access to cash inventory that DVc has told those who bought new points would be allowed to book with those new points is anyone’s guess

If you have Polynesian points you need to call because the points don’t technically work at the Poly tower until the Poly tower opens.

To clarify, any PVB owner who wants to book the tower needs to call. The tower rooms will not be available online until booking opens for all.

Staying where it is, except they are building a dedicated bus turnaround. Maybe planning for the increased number of buses?

That will be a long walk to the bus from the tower. I am surprised they chose not to add another stop. I wish they would make it dedicated like Riv. at least that would speed the trip up.

I think the tower is going to put pressure on GF’s transportation and pools. Just eyeballing the distance but GF monorail/bus might be the same distance or even shorter - I easily could be wrong about that though. I also really am banking on wrist bands for the pools - I have seen it posted multiple times on FB that tower guests should just use the GF pools.

That's a good point. I imagine the pool closest to VGF original villas will be much busier and it's not that big. Really hoping for some sort of check ala SAB.
