Seems to me you can use the first door for anything else as long as you don't enter it. So, open it up and look, play witht he doorknob, carve a little heart in it - just don't do that stuff to door number two!

Enter using door #2. Exit using door #1.

Door number 2 doesn't say you can't use it, it just tells you to use the other door for something.

Take door number 1 off the hinges. Remove doorknob. Enlarge the hole from the doorknob and line with a piece of bicycle innertube so that it just pushes and fits around the knob of door number 2. Use door number 1 to turn the knob of door number 2 and you've followed directions perfectly.
