How do I do this? We paid $200 deposit when we booked. I was thinking of trying to put a bit on my CC every month (and pay the CC too obviously). can I do this on the web or do I need to call?

I just call and get the automated system to do it. It's just as easy for me.

Why don't you just add the money to your Credit Card account every month, then pay off Disney when the time comes?

I do this every month and it's easy as pie. Just log in to MDE, point your mouse over My Dsney Experience and when the menu appear choose My Reservations, wait for the page to load and right by Remaining Balance you'll see the link to make a payment. On the next page you'll choose how much you'd like to pay (minimum is $20) and how will you pay it.

my disney experience .. i made about 12 payments on this site very easy payed it off before 45 days

I did it this way as well last year and again this year! It's nice to have so much time to pay it off! I'm handling my Universal Orlando reservations the same way! :thumbsup2

It can be done either way. As the pp said, if you call, it's usually automated. Anytime I have called to make a payment, it didn't take but a few minutes as everything was automated so I didn't have to wait to talk to a CM.
