If you're staying at a Magic Kingdom resort, Princess Carriage Rentals will send someone to literally roll out the red carpet for you family, then chauffeur you via private limo to the park, where you'll be set up with a carriage. At $299 per day, the experience is not cheap, but it will give your kids an experience they won't soon forget.

It's cute. Not 300 bucks a day cute though. At least at that price there won't be a gazillion of these clogging up the parks.

OMGGGGG.....I love it and would totally do it if my daughter wasn't 12! LOL!! Although she is sitting here and thinking that she may still want to do it! HAHAHA!!

While impractical and expensive, I can't sit here and pretend it's not...

1) super adorable
2) something I want even now, as a full grown adult
3) a smart business idea. they're going to be making out like bandits at that price

ETA: just saw the video and the little rotating lights on the scrolls at nighttime
+ nice song choice. "once in a lifetiiiime..."

How do you keep it from being stolen? What if it rains?

My friend asked them about leaving it in stroller parking. They said you could, but who would want to take the chance that someone walks off with it.

For those thinking that it's oversize, it's not. It does fall within the Disney max size specification of 52" x 36".

"The inside of the carriage can seat a child who is up to 5' tall. The total weight limit for the carriage is 200 lbs. The seat is 24" wide. The number of riders would be determined by how many can ride comfortably--side by side on the seat (no lap sitting or riding on the center floor or roof)--within these peremeters. Seat restraints must be used when carriage is in motion. Overloading the carriage or allowing the children to sit in areas other than the seat is not permissable."

Can we expect an updated policy with height limitation soon?
And height
Disney doesn't stipulate a height restriction on the "personal items are not permitted inside the theme parks" list of prohibited items. They just specify that "Strollers larger than 36" x 52" (92 x 132 cm)" are not allowed. I'm guessing the the builder of the coach probably looked at the height of a typical double stroller that was allowed in and matched it.
