Purple Van (OL) Photo Thread, Has it been Updated Lately?

haven't seen John the Purple Van Man's pix thread bumped up recently, or did I somehow miss it ?

I have to admit, I saw the Purple Van this last weekend and was very excited. Saw some lockers on a cart too. Tempting, tempting...

We saw the purple van at BLT a couple of weeks ago, so they are still around!

Yesterday, we ran into JDVM, the Purple Owners Locker guy, at Epcot. He mentioned that the "Everyday Adventures of the Purple Van" thread has been retired. I thought JDVM did a wonderful job of advertising for Disney, and that his posts were always very positive about WDW.

I'll miss John's thread. His pictures were fantastic. You know, I can't even find the thread....if anyone finds it please "bump" it up.

That is a real shame as I know John's posts were followed by many and created a real buzz for Disney.

What a shame. We always enjoyed seeing where the van was each day. He always pointed out some features that I had never seen before. He had a fun way of keeping Disney fresh.

Everything is gone. I went through my old emails and found some "replies" to the thread. When I tried to access the thread I received a message that "the link I was acessing was invalid and to contact the administrator". I guess either he or someone here deleted the threads.

Yes, agree; he often showed 'hidden' Disney that we had overlooked.
