Purchasing Small-Point, Direct?

I'm thinking ahead to Lakeshore Lodge and purchasing a small-point contract, Point Chart pending. This would be my first Direct purchase, holding a handful of small-point resale contracts to date.

Anyway, I understand that I won't be able to take advantage of any incentives with the (small, 50 - 60) contract I'd purchase, but unlike resale, will this transaction be taken care of on the same day, in a matter of hours?

Can I use my credit card with Disney to make this purchase and if so, how much will they allow me to charge?

Lastly, all my contracts being the same Use Year, I'll be able to choose which UY I want, no problems, yes?

To get a different UY, you would have to purchase whatever the current new member minimum point requirement is. Different UYs would also result in a new membership number.

To get only 50 - 60 points, they would have to have the same UY as an exiting contract.

I have for sure had them while on the phone with the guide discussing things!! Maybe in 20 minutes!!

I would assume that the minimum add on will be set at 50 points, since that seems to be what they have done for new resorts since CCV.

Last time I added on it was closer to 2 hours but it didn’t matter in the grand scheme of things

Of course it doesn’t, but someone mentioned it and was simply sharing that they can indeed come that quickly !!!
