We were already getting a new cc, the Chase Freedom card, because it gives 1.5% rewards on all purchases. It also offered 15 months at 0% on all purchases as a sign-up bonus. Needless to say, spreading it out over 15 months versus paying it all at once was an easy decision. We also could’ve paid for it up front, but there was no reason to at 0% APR for over a year.
