Happy New Year, Disers! I need some help! I have a FL resident annual pass and have a reservation for 1/17 to go to Epcot for first day of Festival of the Arts. Yesterday evening, my aunt indicated she would like to come with me which is great. I would like to purchase a one day Epcot ticket for her and am not sure the easiest way to do this. I have only done this for other family members pre-pandemic in person and don’t want to wait until we actually get there on 1/17. I know we need a reservation for her. Thank you for your help!!!

Thank you! So, I need to use my phone at the Epcot entrance for her to be admitted or will it show up on her phone?

Does she have her own MDE Account and the MDE app on her phone? That's the only way for it to show-up on her smartphone.

When purchasing tickets through the Walt Disney World website, you will be asked for whom the ticket is being purchased. You can specify that the ticket is a gift. When you do this, it will ask for the name of the person using the ticket. You can also select to have tickets mailed (there is a link that says “See other delivery options”). That will get you a physical ticket that is not tied to a My Disney Experience account.

Alternately, as you saw, you can see if she has an account and just purchase the ticket through her account.

It doesn’t sound like Lightning Lane Multi Pass or Single Pass will be something you’ll be using. But if you do want to use either or both, she will need an account with the admission linked to her account.

Hope that helps! 😊

Thank you - all the info does help! I see the key is confirming that she has her own account. She advised she has the app on her phone but that is not the same as having her own account😊.
