My son will be with me from5/15-5/17 at CCV. On May 17, my son leaves, but my husbandarrives on the same day. Both my husband and I will be staying at BLT. Will I be able to make LL resevations for my husband seven days prior to 5/15 or do I need to wait two more days?

You cannot make LL reservations for your DH until 7 days prior to his arrival unless you put him on the 1st reservation as well.

You will be able to make your husband's LL purchases 7 days before his arrival on May 17th. His date is Saturday, May 10th.

I am trying to confirm that I do not have to purchase a Lightening Lane Multi Pass for everyone on my reservation. I can add my husband to my first reservation if this is true. He just has to change the start date on his 9-day ticket.

No you are not required to purchase LLMP and/or LLSP for everyone on your reservation. You just start with a list of your travel party and you can select all or just a subset of your travel party.

Does that make sense?

As PP stated, you do not have to buy LLMP for all guests on any given day.

But I also wanted to mention that there is no need to adjust your husband's ticket start date unless that's beneficial price-wise. I'm assuming it's a stand-alone ticket and not a package ticket.

He has a stand-alone 9-day ticket. I moved the start date to 5/15 since it didn't change the price and still covered his entire stay. Bonus for him, when I told him what I was doing, he booked a late afternoon flight on 5/16. He now gets an extra night at Disney and gets to spend time with our youngest at Wilderness Lodge.
