Purchasing DVC from UK

My initial contact with a guide was while I was over there, but after that all conversations with my guide(s) have been via email. It is very easy to purchase from the UK, although I would definitely look more into purchasing resale.

If you want to ring them for a chat the UK DVC number is 0800 783 2893, but I believe you do speak to someone in the states. It does say you can ring to find out more, so it doesn't seem to be a member's only number. I would also check out the DVC section on the UK forum mentioned above.

I'm UK. You'll probably pay around $15000+ more for a Direct contract versus Resale, so you had better do the math to determine if you will visit enough and spend enough to make it worthwhile. We only have a maximum of 4 or 5 main trips planned so it didn't make sense to waste all that money on Direct.

It's a very personal choice, but our preference was for OKW because the rooms and villas are far larger than elsewhere (it was the original DVC resort so afterwards Disney realised they could dramatically reduce the room size to coin as much as possible). It also has a really nice laid back vibe to avoid the 24*7 bubble mania.
