How do i go about purchasing an annual pass? Is it active when i purchase it? :confused3

it doesn't activate until the first day you use it. you get a voucher to gain entry into a park. you then go to guest services to process it and have your pic taken. that day is your official renewal date.

Since it is an annual pass is the expiration from the first date of use? I purchased one ap on universal studios website for $191 and I used the flex pay plan for $16 a month on my credit card. I received it in the mail the other day and noticed in print once it expires, they will renew it and keep billing my card...so...I will need to keep an eye on it if I dont want to renew.

Even with the flex pay the year doesn't start until you enter the park for the first time.

Flexpay does automatically renew unless you request in writing for it to stop.

Can you call to ask them to stop the flexpay and renew at the rate of $99?

It has to be in writing. You can call and have them fax you the form and fax it back or send it in the mail or do it at Guest Services at the park. Yes, you can then renew for $99.
