Purchasing an additional contract

Because I live in Las Vegas, Disney can't send me information on any Disney Vacation Club properties, I tried several times and this is the message I receive....

"Disney Vacation Club is a vacation ownership product and is therefore subject to the regulatory laws of the state, province, or country in which you reside. We can therefore send information through the mail or speak via the telephone to only those guests who are over 18 years of age and reside in jurisdictions that have given us permission to discuss the various benefits of Disney Vacation Club Membership.

Unfortunately, you reside in a jurisdiction where Disney Vacation Club is not registered.

Thank you for your interest in Disney Vacation Club."

I have purchased a resale and have just became a member of DVC. I was thinking of doing an add on while I was on vacation next year and my question to the board is.... Will I be able to take the tours and get information about purchasing through Disney now that I am a member or do I have to stick to resale... I'd love to be able to take the resort tours and get additional information.

I believe that they are prohibited from any activity in a state where they are not registered -- even if you are a member. You could buy resale or (I believe) from Disney if you do it while in Florida.
