Purchasing an add on discounted night with member dollars (cash)?

We have booked a Sunday through Wednesday stay at DVC Vero Beach in August using points. As we are out of points, we would like to purchase a Saturday night add on paying with member dollars (cash). I just called Member Services and was told that they have rooms available for our date but not at the discounted member dollars rate. Does anyone know when these discounted rates usually come available?

They may never become available. I believe It all depends on how busy the resort is .

You could check with MS periodically , but there is no sure thing.
