Pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving.. A "must" or not?

So - for Thanksgiving is pumpkin pie a "must" for you?

As for pumpkin pie, I didn't grow up with it, we only had sweet potato... and we WILL be having that!!

This is us, except my DW's wife choice is apple. Had to practically beg for pumpkin this year, as it may be our first w/o DS (school/working). Besides, w/o pumpkin pie, there'd be no breakfast for me to eat while waiting in line at 4 AM.

Pumpkin pie? yes, yes, yes. In fact, I would be satisfied if I only had a pumpkin pie.

At BJ's they had a pumpkin cheesecake by the Cheesecake Factory it was so good!

Cinderella so sorry you are having that done good luck and you will be in my prayers for a speedy recovery. Good news though, pumpkin pie is good anytime.

As for the pumpkin pie ... YES. I MUST have pumpkin pie! I think I could eat that and nothing else and be completely satisfied. Preferably, with one whole pie for myself. Yes - I really do like it that much!

Yep me too and throw in the candied sweet potatoes and you can keep that dumb bird and everything else.

To me Thanksgiving is pumpkin pie and candied sweet potatoes.

Not a fan of the pumpkin pie. Will eat almost any other kind of pie though! We always have pumpkin and a few other pies too!
