Pulling No Punches: The T-E-Double-Grr-ible Truth/First They Came for Tigger…

I agree with an earlier post... the OP is Zzub. He rants in his trip report about Disney taking his money and also hijacking our minds with the Disney "magic". Also, anyone who has read only a few of his posts can easily see some uncommon word repeats and similarities. In addition, Zzub is an attorney- pair intellect with wordsmith-ery and you get one who likes to toy with us all. I have a friend like this. He gets his kicks trying to mess with us. So okay... we're thinking Zzub.

(And for the record-- if I'm wrong I will skulk quietly away from this thread.)

popcorn::

That’s a very nice skulk you have there. :smooth:

Wordsmith-ery? Maybe. Attorney? You couldn’t be further from the truth. Intellect? Me? That’s a good one! :lmao: :rotfl: :rotfl2:

Although the mind is a wonderful chew toy, I’m not trying to mess with you. It is Disney’s kicks at your expense that you need to be worried about.

Oh, and other 'proof'? Fortuosity Fort= Fort Wildnerness??

I made reservations to Fort Wilderness once; however, I’ve never been there.

Three clues for you:

1. The
2. Happiest
3. Millionaire

Hope that helps.

I thought the word 'fortuosity' had something to do with "travelocity' at first.:rotfl2:

I like the way you (sometimes) think...

It would appear I am wrong.

TOV

...but in this instance, it would indeed appear that, yes, you are wrong.

Are you insane?

You’re getting warmer.

Read the thread, DaisyChick. I think the fact that the OP is a little off their rocker has been firmly established by now. ;)

TOV

You would be too, if you were me (or maybe the Monaco’s).

Oh, I'm not saying any of my opinions are accurate... you may be right about your line of thinking-- I'm just putting mine out there hoping others might have some ideas too. I think we can figure this guy out.

Yesterday I would have agreed with you. Today, after reading many of these replies, I'm beginning to have my doubts.

Personally, I think he/she is just so into Disney that he/she is experiencing shame about it, but can't stop being immersed in all things WDW. In any case, NONE of us are any crazier than this guy for discussing it!:rotfl:

An interesting analysis. My most recent trip to Disney was in December of 1990; when was yours?

used to work for a popular non-profit. We used to get rambling diatribes similar to this from the kooks!!!!: pages and pages of stuff, writing in the margins, crazy scrawled drawings...this reminds me of that kind of rambling crazy stuff! :crazy2: rotfl:

I’ve something in common with those considered to be kooks? THAT explains a LOT. :scared1: Thank you!

I didn't think the DIS boards allowed such (OP) blasphemy????

Blasphemy?

You cut me deep, Mama. Real deep.

:sad1:

I hear the LOCKsmith coming....

I guess it could be worse, though, e.g. DISboards deletion. pixiedust:

ZZUB stayed at The Wilderness Lodge. He did however used to like The Bufferteria(is that even what it's called? :rotfl: ) which I believe is at Ft. Wilderness. :confused3

I have never stayed at The Wilderness Lodge. I have never stayed at any Disney World resort. I have made reservations in the past to do so, but I have never set foot inside a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel. Until I DIScovered the DISboards, I didn’t even know that Walt Disney World had hotels/resorts.

I have also never had the good fortune to enjoy any of Disney’s restaurants. I have had a couple of counter service things like “Emu” legs and fruit, though. :)

Wow! I'm amazed at the time & thought you put into your threads.:)

Thank you so very much, KristiKelly. :) Didn't take a lot of thought, really. IMO, the whole Tigger-Monaco thing pretty much writes itself. I imagine the late night shows and perhaps SNL or who-have-you have been having a ball with it. I found myself a-wishing I could make up a video something-or-other to poke a bit of fun. :teeth:

Thanks again; I really appreciate it. :goodvibes

Leafette's gettin you.

Thanks. I hadn't read that far into the replies at the time I posted that, and you were the first (who posted, anyway) to "get" me. If I'm not mistaken, I think I may have read some posts/threads of your own that suffered a similar fate as mine has here. Until your post, I was beginning to think I'd done too poorly for people to be able to perceive my intent.

I think you're the greatest,

I love you even more than that Squid poster! I retract my previous proposal. beaglelotsofnumbers, will YOU marry me? :cheer2:

but my dad says you don't work hard enough on defense. And he says that lots of times, you don't even run down court. And that you don't really try... except during the playoffs.

The h___ I don't. LISTEN KID. I've been hearing that c___ ever since I joined the DIS. I'm out there busting my buns every night. Tell your old man to drag Walt and Eisner up and down the CB for 48 posts.

On second thought... your dad's name wouldn't happen to begin with Jerry and end with Sr., would it?

At any rate, I think you should go back to your seat now beagle. Right, DISers?

And one pill makes you small

OMG..I figured it out.

For one brief, shining moment, hope stirred within my heart…

Fortuosity=FlowersChild! Right? Do I win? Do I get a prize? :tilt:

TOV

*Sigh* It was nice while it lasted, I suppose.

In answer to your questions:

1. No.
2. No.
3. No.

Hmmmm (pondering quietly in a corner and still coming up with nothing)

Perhaps pondering a little more loudly in the middle of the room might help. That’s what I do, anyway.

Okay, when a poster starts "talking to himself," it's time to call it a night. ;)

Now it's time to say goodbye
To all our company

M-I-C, See you real soon!

K-E-Y, Why? Because I like you! :goodvibes

If anyone replies on this thread tomorrow, I'll drop in for a spell. :wizard:

Later Ben Ali Gators,

Then they came for Stitch,
(Link)
and I didn’t speak up,
because Alien Encounter was way better anyway.

Then they came for the Castle,
(Link)
and I didn’t speak up,
because I figured they couldn’t do much worse than The Pink Pepto Cake.
(How a-BISMOL.)

You are seriously talented. I caught up this morning and had a good morning laugh. I still can't tell if you love Disney and pretend you hate it. Or really hate it. :confused3 Someone help me out?

I think most of us can agree that we all HATE Disney. Corporate Disney. Those big wigs don't care about magic or kids. They ONLY love their money. It's up to us not to let THEM ruin it for us and our kids and our kids kids and our kids kids kids. It's the WONDERFUL and underpaid and under appreciated CM that work in the parks and resorts that make us come back again and again. I don't believe Walt intended for it to be that way. He LOVED Disney. It was ABOUT the magic for him. It's just turned into a way to make money now. :sad2:

Am I right?

I once posted a thread in jest that Bush is worse than Hitler. I thought the sarcasm was obvious, but I was wrong and I apparently offended a few people who "know a Jewish person".

I think I have this all figured out...

OK, I’ll bump. This is getting fun.

First it was Conga Lines, and now it’s The Bump! One can hardly post nowadays without getting one’s fingers smashed by folks with two left thumbs. :sad2:

This is getting fun? Getting…FUN? Dude, lay off of that pixie dust, man. Disney knows that once it’s got you addicted, you’ll be Captain-Hooked for life! If you thought tobacco companies were evil… :scared1:

Thanks. I meant to amuse, so I’m glad you got a guffaw. :)

I do not hate Disney at all. I even like it a little. ;);) I can’t say I’m a fan of such things as Cinderella VI: Lucifer Meets the 707 Aristocats, though. Too - if I’m honest - I do prefer Bugs Bunny to Mickey Mouse, but I still memorized my very well-worn Disney records as a child.

I don’t know. I could lose a few fingers and still count the number of trips I’ve made to Disney on one hand, although I plan to visit again someday. :)

I once posted a thread in jest that Bush is worse than Hitler.

(emphasis in quote mine)

But, but, but everyone with even half a brain knows that! Duh.

I thought the sarcasm was obvious, but I was wrong and I apparently offended a few people who "know a Jewish person".

It’s not ringing a bell, so either I don’t remember it or I missed it. Might have to try a search and take a gander at it if it didn’t get deleted.

Flummoxing easily-offended folks -- oh, what a glorious way to start a new day! It would be extra delicious if you are Jewish.

But seriously -- I just gotta chuckle since I was once awfully "clueless" myself. Still am more than I might like to admit. ;)

Ding! Ding! Ding! We have a winner!

The competition’s pretty stiff, though. Do you think I even stand a Minnie chance against the Monaco’s? :scratchin

Thanks for the laugh. :)
