From the flames I got after that picture was posted,
one might have thought the All Stars refillable mug I was drinking from
was the old one I’d bought on eBay, instead of the brand new one I’d purchased
right after I’d checked into ASSports not one hour earlier!

This quote made me think of my neighbor. She fell down stairs and brroke her leg. While they were preping her for surgery to fix the leg, they discovered lung cancer by xray. The broken leg (proverbial kick in the teeth) led them to an early diagnosis of a type of lung cancer that is usually deadly.

Sad for your neighbor’s leg; happy for the early diagnosis (with the understanding that having lung cancer to begin with is not an occasion for rejoicing).
