Just wondering if you can get pull up diapers in America that are not 'toilet training' ones?
In Australia you can get the toilet training pull ups where they feel the wetness so lets them know they have gone but you can also get regular diapers that absorb the wetness but just happen to be pull up style...I use these on my toddler as she is highly active and hates laying down to get changed but is not ready for toilet training yet. Been looking on diapers.com and the walmart website and can only see the toilet training ones. Please help!
Thanks :goodvibes

Huggies sells or used to sell slip on diapers. You can also use the pull ups as they are as absorbent as a diaper. They do make ones that don't have the wet feeling.

Yes I know what you are talking about. They do have the pull up diapers at Target here in America, I believe huggies makes them as I bought some not very long ago for my daughter (she is almost 2);)

Yes, they sell them on Walmart.com. They are called "Huggies Little Movers Slip On Diaper Pants." They are listed on the website for $22.47 for a box of 64 diapers in size 5. They have them in sizes 3, 4, 5 and 6. They are regular diapers that slip on, not for training. I use them for my daughter who is almost 2 and I love them. Makes diaper changing so easy when she is on the go.

I used to change not only my kids, but my daycare kids as well, standing up. It's not very hard to put a diaper on a toddler while they are standing - the biggest "trick" is to fasten one side, then have the child straddle a little (move legs apart to about shoulder width), and pull the diaper so it's not crooked. Takes a little practice, but can be done quickly and with minimal fuss with easygoing kids as well as the little hyper ones! LOL

Regular diapers are WAYYYY cheaper than pull on diapers. JMO.

YES!!! They are called Good Nights by Huggies I think (Pampers make a brand as well), and they are really for older children who still wet the bed and absorb like a diaper. They are better than the regular pull ups that are not good for night time wear. Pull ups tend to leak and these do not as easily.

I wouldn't use those for a toddler. Too little for those sizes.

I have never had issues with pull ups and I like the elastic sides. Easy to take off a poopy diaper. But also the huggies pull on diapers are nice too. I have noticed the pampers is very cheap with the material on the sides. If you rip it you can't just re attach it.

I find the huggies not absorbent enough for DS. We like Pampers Easy Ups for him.
