I found this website, and it shows you the ads they have out every week so you have a good idea of what everything will cost you. They also do birthday cakes if anyone is intersted.http://www.publix.com/

Does anyone know if you have to have a shopper's card to get the sale prices at Publix?

Around here every store except for Super Walmart requires a shopper card to get the sale prices.

Just curious.

I was wondering the same thing...
What about a card for Winn Dixie stores?

Public requires no card. Just be aware that their buy one get one free specials really do require you to buy two for the discount. The first rings up full price. The next at zero.

We no longer have Winn Dixies, but I seem to recall that they do require a card.

At the Publix's here in Georgia, the BOGO's (buy one get ones) ring up at half price so you would not have to buy both to get the sale. Unless they have changed their policy in Fla, the same would apply.

Can anyone verify the BOGO's in Fla, Lakeland division to be exact?

HTH,

Publix BOGO...first one rings at full price, second one is free.

Our BOGO is the same deal as Miss Jasmine's - the first one is full price the second one is free. BTW, we are in the Lakelane division, West Coast of FL. :)

I'm shocked! I shop almost exclusively at Publix in Georgia & BOGO's always ring up 1/2 price each. You never have to buy 2 to get the discount. I can't believe they would be different in Florida.

I always stock up on the BOGO's at Publix just outside of Tampa and they always ring up with the first at full price and the second one free. Looks like they do things differently in GA! I'm about 20 miles from Lakeland.

I shopped the Orlando Publix on 192 near Orange Lake Country Club in July and this was true (that the first rang full price, second free). Most of our stores here at home ring up each at half price, though Krogers has gone back and forth. I always try to watch the items as they ring up, so I noticed this right away.

I like it the other way much better, particularly on vacation when one might be all you would use. They do have decent prices and good sales, however. We don't have Publix here in Tennessee.

In a previous post, someone was describing a new Publix closer to Old Key West. As I remember, you went right on 535 from Hotel Plaza Blvd. then turned left shortly after going under the I 4 overpass. Does anyone know which store that would be? When I look at the maps and driving directions on their website, none seemed to match. Is that store not yet showing on their website?

I admit that I am "directionally challenged" so maybe I just can't figure out which one it is. Thanks.

There's about 6 Publix's in Tennessee near Nashville. Haven't heard anything about opening any new stores lately but I'll keep an ear out for you. What city(cities) are you closest to?

Pam

I live near, and work in, Knoxville. Our favorite grocery is Bi-lo, but I haven't seen any of them in Florida.

I believe this is the one that is on the other side of I-4 from Disney Marketplace:

Regency Village Shopping Center (Store #00812)

8145 Vineland Ave
Orlando, FL 32821-6847
Main: (407) 238-9924
Fax: (407) 238-4650

Store Hours

Sun 8:00 AM - 10:00 PM
Mon 8:00 AM - 10:00 PM
Tues 8:00 AM - 10:00 PM
Wed 8:00 AM - 10:00 PM
Thurs 8:00 AM - 10:00 PM
Fri 8:00 AM - 10:00 PM
Sat 8:00 AM - 10:00 PM

I haven't been to it yet, since I always go to the one on the corner of 192 and 535, but this one would be closer. It's very near the Dixie Stampede.
