which one is closest, also are there blenders in a 2-bedroom?

The only one I know is the one out past Dixie Stampede....really not far though. If you take the road past DTD to the intersection at 535/Crossroads make a right...then turn left after the I4 overpass, just after the Bahama Breeze. Go straight on this road, past Dixie Stampede and you'll eventually see Publix on the left. I think its 10 minutes from BWV at most.

I've never seen a blender in any villa...but perhaps you can request one from housekeeping?

The Publix Lesley described is the one we've been to...very nice and fairly new. Also, there is a Winn-Dixie if you turn left at Crossroads, down the street about a half mile or so. That's actually the closest store I think (other than Goodings, which is extremely high priced and low selection).

From BWV, I think the one on 192 just west of World Drive is the closest. That's especially true if you sneak out behind AKL to 192.

From BCV, we've been using the Publix at the intersection of 192 and S. International Drive - just south of the Gaylord Palms. Buena Vista Drive to Victory Way (before CBR), then left on Osceola Parkway (after Pop Century), then south on I Drive after Gaylord Palms. The store is just after 417 crosses over I-Drive. This is east of the one Dean mentions - anyone know which is closer? The traffic has always been light via the above route (avoids driving on 192).

I'm not all that familiar with 192, which is I guess why I've never tried to find either Publix out that way. I'll have to write down some of these directions for future reference.

I've been to the Winn Dixie on 535 and didn't like it....but it turns out that I just don't care for Winn Dixie stores in general...they just don't carry a lot of the things I look for.

Oh, hey, now wait...is that one on S. Int. Dr. sort of on the way to the airport? Those directions sound like the way we went to pick up my parents 2 years ago....I was given the directions by the front desk at BWV.

I'll have to check it out when we pick up my parents at the airport on Sunday.

if you go to the publix on US 192 West you can avoid the traffic by using black lake road.

get on the road infront of BWV - then a block or two down - take the ramp to 536 (get in the left lane until after the I4 intersection) - when you get pass the Marriott World Center (believe me you can't miss it) - get in the right lane turn right after at the next traffic light - get in a center lane (535) - after it goes under 522 - get in the left lane - a block or two later is a light - turn left (there should be a Burger King on the corner) - there is a Publix here. Don't worry if you miss this turn - you are coming up to US 192 - just turn left - along this road on the left side is a Sam's and a Target - a couple of miles down on the right side is a Super Walmart.

the Target is new and it was priced below Walmart.
