Hi everyone,

We're heading to WDW after Thanksgiving. We usually take Magic Express from MCO and order from Garden Grocer. But, since this our first trip to WDW while the Christmas decorations are up, we're renting a car so we can drive around to the resorts and see the decorations. Since we'll have the car, we decided to buy some groceries on the way to the resort (mostly water, some fruit and light breakfast items, including yogurt). I remember reading about a Publix close to POFQ, but can't find the thread. Can someone tell me where the Publix is located? Thank you

Closest one is near the intersection of International Drive and Vineland Avenue. Google "Publix Orlando" and pull up the map. It'll show all the Publix in the Orlando area, including the one I mentioned.

Yep closest is ... Regency Village, 8145 Vineland Ave, Orlando, FL 32821

It's about 6 to 7 miles away ... about a 15 min drive

Here's a map I created for an old thread asking for Publix and Target locations from Disney's Polynesian Village Resort:

  1. Disney's Polynesian Village Resort
  2. Target - 3200 Rolling Oaks Blvd, Kissimmee, FL 34747 (under #5)
  3. Target - 4795 W Irlo Bronson Hwy, Kissimmee, FL 34746
  4. Publix - 29 Blake Blvd, Celebration, FL 34747
  5. Publix - 14928 E Orange Lake Blvd, Kissimmee, FL 34747
  6. Publix - 8145 Vineland Ave, Orlando, FL 32821
  7. Publix - 2915 Vineland Rd, Kissimmee, FL 34746

Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter is located to the right of "Center" in Epcot Center Dr...basically dead center on the map. (Sorry, but I don't have time to edit the map to include that resort.)

The Publix location that DisBuckMan and huntwolf mention is #6 on the map. In my experience, traffic around that area can be bad. I think it might be slightly easier to get to the Celebration Publix (#4). It would depend on the time of the day, though. Sometimes I-4 can get backed up at rush hour.

Avoid 535 and I4 at all costs. IN other words don't go via Disney Springs and Hotel Blvd to 535. Go straight on Epcot Center Drive and head towards the airport. Turn Left on IDrive North and take that to Regency Square (#6 on the map). You avoid all the traffic including the Outlet Mall traffic along I4.
