Thanks! Aside from one very large blister, I didn't feel too bad. My legs were a little stiff two days later, but I was sure to use advil.
I wish I took more pics (it seemed like I was taking more).
Great job, Debbie!!!
Thanks!
Way to go,
and way to represent the lime green!![]()
I thought the lime green was a cool touch! I have a pair of run Disney shorts that my bff bought me, but they aren't as comfortable as my other shorts.
Way to go!!!!I am registered for the ToT ten miler...but I doubt I will be able to run the entire thing. Your ran the entire 10 miles?
I can only run a couple minutes at a time... 2 hours?

Thanks! Trust me. When I started running a year ago, I would have never believed I could run for 30 min let alone 120!
Just build up. I recommend Jeff Galloway's training program. It's on the Disney website.
I can easily run five/ six with my friend time permitting. Prior to the ten miles - my longest run was 8.25, and I had run 7-8 miles three times.
During the race the last two miles were the hardest, but I knew I could run them. It would be funny to see what I looked like running them...I must have been in slow motion!
I want to do the Princess Half. I'm not going to make myself run though. My plan is to run when I want - like on the highways, and enjoy the scenic park and characters at other times. With the pace being 16 min miles...I will be fine running a couple of ten minute miles and walking for some , running some more, etc. The average of run/walk will surely be faster than a 14 min mile.
