I've stalled in the planning dept. I don't know why but I am having planner's block...
Instead, I will share someone else's story with you.
A friend of mine who I teach with is headed to Disney in May with her family and SIL's family. They are staying at someone's timeshare.
I asked her about planning. She mentioned wanting to do a character breakfast. I said, um, you might have trouble with that. You need to get on it, yesterday!!! The more I talked to her the more I realized she hadn't planned anything. She said she was starting to itch from nerves. I said, I am much more nervous than you are!
Then, we talked about park passes. She said that so and so (I know who so and so is, but I don't want to include the name) works for Disney and is giving them free passes. Also, her BIL has a vendor (son to Iger or Einser) now I am unsure of who she said...said that he would hook them up too. Okay, now this woman has no knowledge of Disney, so I knew she wasn't making this up. Also, she isn't the type to make it up.
It's a small world...
After talking to her more, I learned that she is going the same time as my daughters' friend's family. (The friend at school (D) and the mom (O) to my kid's friend are best friends.) Still with me?
Well, O is a Disney lover like us and goes for ten days every other year. She has her plan all mapped out. I don't know if she is mapping out D's plan...They are doing the Luau and HoopDee together.
Needless to say, I am doing a reverse plan of attack for her. I am going to tell her which parks not to go to (she can avoid all EMH parks!)
I think I will sign off for now. I know I have totally confused my readers, and and loss any credibility as a writing teacher.
I just wanted to share yet another way I get to talk about Disney in my life!
