Liam got a surprise in the mail yesterday!

He's face lit up when he saw Mickey Mouse.....we can only hope that a 6 foot Mickey will have the same effect! Thank yous go out to Tinkerbellarella for taking the time to send the postcard during her recent trip. Gotta love DISers!!!

No thanks necessary! It was all my pleasure. I like knowing I'm putting smiles on the faces of people from all over.

Disney Magic is always good medicine.

I actually sent them out to any and all DISers for whom I had contact info. I hope everyone gets theirs!

Day 25 or otherwise known as the day panic set in......

I give you my countdown calendar.....it's getting crowed on that thing.

On Day 27 I called the Walt Disney Travel Co to confirm that Liam was on my ressie....since he isn't 3 yet he wasn't noted on the paperwork. He's in the computer. My main concern for checking on it was I want the room assigner to know that we have a toddler with us so I don't get a King bed room that is wheelchair accessible....they don't usually have tubs. (right LL??) Since at CBR the check-in building is no where near the rooms I have a info sheet written out so I don't forget to ask about anything when we check in before we drive all the way over to the room. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure they say. You might not want to be behind me in line....just saying.

On Day 26 I checked all the hours of the parks to see if there were changes. There were but in my favor. We gained an extra 1/2 hour at DHS....they are now closing at 7:30 pm at the end of October. Hey it's better then nothing. Now I have to update the master schedule...oh well.

Day 25 I pulled out all of Liam's new clothes for vacation. He has been in size 12 months all summer long and in now wearing size 18 mo for fall. I knew this was going to happen so I've been buying "summer"/vacation clothes for the past few monthes as I've seen stuff on sale. I've gotten all the shorts for $2-3 each and the shirts for about $3-5 each. I think the swim short were $6 or $7 each. I took the tags off everything this afternoon so I can wash them and start to pack. If we have a special evening/dinner planned I want another outfit for that too. I'm going to label ziplock bags for each day like so many DISers do. Genius idea. Then I checked the spreadsheet I had created for outfits/days.....and the panic set in......I don't have enough clothes for Liam. I don't have enough outfits to cover every day let alone back-ups. I know I could do laundry but I'd like to avoid that if I could. I know I'll buy him things down there but they still need to be washed before he wears them. I guess I'll be doing a little more shopping in the next 24 days. UGH. I did take some pictures of the Disney themed clothes I got for him.

The Pooh shirt is from my baby shower....it just now fits. The Nemo outfit is pj's that I got for $2.

This is Liam's outfit for 'Ohana's. Daddy will be wearing one of his Hawaiian shirts as well.

This is his outfit for hanging out/dinner at the Boardwalk area.

I love that I found something to go with those orange shorts!

Swim trunks. I have rash guards tops for him as well that still fit from this summer....I planned ahead and got them a little big back in June.

I still have to do an iron-on on a t-shirt for Liam for our Chef Mickey's dinner....I have the design for that one...just need to add his name. I have one more blank t-shirt that I can make a shirt for him....but I need a design. I was thinking something from Playhouse Disney that he can wear to DHS.

Tracy your right....not all King rooms are HA....I just don't want to get over to the room to discover it has no tub. Plus I always hate taking a HA room when we don't need one when someone else might need one. Is Amy ready for the trip????

Thanks! I'll have to get pictures of him at the start of each day modeling his outfits.....his new sneakers got delivered today...plus I got him new Crocs so he's all set in the footwear dept.
