So, looks like I have you fooled shishi, I am not totally organized. 
Somethings yes, somethings, no!
Here's a perfect example-for the last few days I have made a concentrated effort to find our park tickets from last year. I have a 10 day non exp., PH, with plusses that probably only has a few park days and quite a few plusses on it. Plus last year we took one of Belle's one day base tickets (bought to get free DDP) and upgraded it to 10 day, non exp. blah blah blah....
Last year I told myself to put them somewhere where I would be able to find them right away. That should have been in my little safe. But no...., they weren't there.
I found most everything else from last year but not the tickets (or food receipts-yes I kept them!) Where or where could they be?
So, this a.m. I woke up early, about 3 a.m. and instead of laying there and wondering where they were I decided to get up and check my home office since that's where they had to be since I already checked my bedroom and closet. And guess what? (well if you read the title you know) I found them! Yippee!
They were sitting off to the side of my desk along with food receipts and all my PP cards. Thank goodness! Now I know what happened. I took them into my office but I couldn't find the key to unlock the safe at that time so I set them down on a shelf. Months later and they were still in the same location.
So, I've been up since then and it's just after 5 a.m. here...I'm so getting ready for waking up 3 hours early in....only 4 more days!
shishi I sent you a PM, don't worry about the timing. All is going well with having family over tonite. Food ordered, house clean, diet cokes and water bought. Just need to get cheesecake and ice. My Dsis has made a display of my Aunt's life in pictures as well as scanning a bunch more pictures and burning them on a DVD that we'll play on the t.v. Here husband goes to bed about 9 and she's a night owl so it gives her time to work on projects.
Belle and I took a short trip to DLR yesterday-I told her we would go before everything else happened. We got there just after opening (8:30) and it was nice. Not too crowded and there was no traffic at all. Love holiday light traffic! Only took 30 min. to get there (as well as getting home.) One of the reasons we went is that I have a bunch of DV free 5 x 7 vouchers that are expiring soon. I brought 9 yesterday.
I have a few recent trips on my PP card so I would have enough to pick from. Plus we ran into one of our fav. PP photogs in NOS and we got pictures fighting Hook and for the first time in over 1-1/2 years, we got the Hitchhiking ghosts! One of us hitching along with them and then another one of us looking at them. Very cool! So we came home with 9 5x7's. I was surprised that the voucher I got yesterday exp. on 10/3/09. I was hoping they would have some cards with later dates on them.
This time we didn't ride many rides, we visited with a few of our favorite CMs. Belle mentioned the other day that she wanted to send one of them, J at DV MnG a postcard on our trip. I told her that she may not want to give us her address. So yesterday I asked her and she was very happy to give it to us!
Belle was very excited and can't wait to send her a postcard.
We left about 2 and all in all it was a pleasant day.
Rode Matterhorn, Winnie, Roger Rabbit, Go Coaster, Tower, and TSM (single rider) and Belle rode Grizzly by herself. Ate at one of our fav. CS-Whitewater Snacks. I had the chicken nachos-no jalapenos, sour cream and guacamole on the side, cheddar cheese only, no cheese sauce. So good, and way too much for one to eat. Belle had the chicken nuggets. We looked for the kitty, who we have now named Cally-short for California and Calico, but she wasn't there. We did see a plate someone had left for her that was cleaned off.
While we were driving home I mentioned to Belle that maybe she could spend the night at my DSis' tonite and they could bake some choc. chip cookies for the memorial. My Aunt always loved all the cookies I make for Christmas. She thought that was a good idea. When we got home I took a short nap and then when I got up Belle asked me if she cold spend the night at Vicki's? I asked her if she remembered the conversation in the car about it? She said she forgot. After all it was almost 1-1/2 hours ago! So she got to spend that night at my DSis' which is one of her favorite things to do. Since my DM and I would be kidless for the night (no baby and no Belle) so we decide to go have sushi. Oops, guess what, being as it was a holiday a lot of restaurants were closed. We checked 2 sushi restaurants and ended up at Claim Jumper. We shared Halibut Fish and Chips-it was very good.
Went to bed early, about 9:30, and as you read earlier, woke up at 3 a.m. I am so ready for Florida!

... Since it's starting to cool down and Fall is definitely in the air here in NJ, I just hope it's not toooooo hot ...
