PTR-Cheating on Mickey w/Harry!...OMG! Only a month to go!

I'm so glad Fran is progressing so nicely! Will this be the first time walking in a while or has she been able to go short distances in the house? Make sure she takes her pain meds sufficiently beforehand to be working when she does go out, she'll be able to tolerate the pressure on the leg better.

I'm mostly vegetarian, only eat fish in the meat department, and I did see some fish on the menus Brandi posted. With all the wonderful reviews I've been reading about the F&W I'd love to go, but if there's not that many options it might not be worth it. I also want to get down for the Halloween party, so if I'm down there during that time I'm sure I'll get over to Epcot and enjoy some delicious vittles!

So glad you haven't gone stir crazy! but 3D friends do have their advantages :) Fran has bought things but not looked at them? I can't let a box sit unopened, I'm like a little kid, must know what's inside!!!

Looking forward to it! You and Brandi....posting pictures and reviewing the food concurrently. :thumbsup2 :rotfl:

Those pics of you and the band were fabulous. Thanks for sharing.

And I hope that Fran and you do get out a bit more. Friends in a box are nice and all that...but 3D friends have that added dimension.

Actually I tend to be the *LIVE* Reviews and Brandi takes her time once she gets home, so look at it this way, beween the two of us the trip will be extended! :thumbsup2

We don't have a lot of 3D friends, most of them are in the band. Something about being in pain, cranky and not being able to get out much doesn't make for having a lot of 3D friends. :sad2:

Loved the pictures of the band and of you and fran especially....

Thanks! :goodvibes

She's been walking around the house, even at her worst, she was able to walk, just slowly and painfully.

As far as F&W goes, there is plenty of types of food for anyone. Princess in Oz's husband is a pescetarian too, and I know he found a few things when they went. (although it was a very short trip). Most booths offer something with no animal protien, and then a fish or land protien or both.

If you had any idea of the package traffic we have around here, you would understand. I'm numb to it at this point. You can only open so many Disney pins, Disney figurines, Disney jackets before it just becomes more of a "where are we going to put THIS????" than excitement.

I rarely buy anything any more. I have to really really really need it now because there literally is no place for things in this house. All our closets are full, so much to the fact we now have a room where we have put clothes racks and we call it the "closet room". I could probably go a year with only washing my underwear before I ran out of things to wear!

I have a whole closet full of western wear for when we decide to join Cowboy Action Shooting, I'm not into country western. :rotfl2: I have another 1/4 of a closet with Civil War Era clothing. Half a closet with semi formal wear, and then there are my racks of daily use clothing. :faint:

And yes 3D friends are very nice. I had a great time on Saturday night, interacting with people, laughing and just having an all around good time. But the DIS is really helpful when it's just the two of us at home, she is asleep from all the morphine and another NCIS rerun, just doesn't cut it! :lmao:

Are you trying tell me something? Are you hinting? :confused3

That is very good news. Not the painfully part, but that she has been walking.

You must tell Fran to put on the brakes so Disney purchases get exciting again!!!

This gave me such a chuckle! :rotfl: It is always good to be prepared for every situation :lmao:

I do love NCIS! Am about two seasons behind sadly, have been debating for a while do I just buy them or request them as Christmas presents...

I wanted to let you know that David and I did the new England cruise for our honeymoon and went the middle of October. The leaves were changing and everyhing was so beautiful

You will love that cruise. :lovestruc

I've been checking out the ones going from Quebec City to New York too! Some of those look interesting. Now I have to hope the cruise lines offer the same cruises in 2013 that they're doing in 2012.

Alison - Fran's leg still looks very painful, but much better. You're doing great!

Yeah. Only I call it vegie 'pesky'-tarian....or is that 'pesky' vegie-tarian?

You just need to check the menu options first....there were loads of options for a 3 day trip.

I was only saying as PIO said we would be reviewing the food concurrently....Although with my plans in all reality, I would probably still be working on uploading and posting pics form WWoHP when we got to BCV, I wouldn't even get to the stuff on the BCV until we check into the WL!

Ha! I think her plan is to own everything ever made by Disney and they try to sell the whole collection sometime before she dies. Since she is older than me I think it is more going to be once she is gone I'm going to have to figure out how to get rid of everything she has hoarded in her life time once she is gone, because she will never stop collecting!

We were late bloomers on NCIS and finally ponied up to buy season Seven on DVD so that we could watch the episodes in real time rather than try and get them on our DVR. Now we're only three weeks behind on all our favorite shows. I have spreadsheet to keep up on everything that we watch!

The nurse said she is looking really good. I'm going to have to convince her that we need to just start living NOW and forget the "when I feel better" otherwise we will never start living. However, she has to feel better enough to put on shoes and go out of the house. We're not there yet.

Yeah. Only I call it vegie 'pesky'-tarian....or is that 'pesky' vegie-tarian?

We left out of cape liberty and it was an easy in and out of the city. Most of the lines are sticking with that cruise, look at royal Caribbean and celebrity, they offer great cruises.

I took this as rubbing in that I have no completed my current TR...

I didn't mean it that way....you've been busy! Plus there's a lot to cover, I can't believe how much you accomplish in each day!

I just meant that between the two of us, we could relive the experience for longer! :thumbsup2

exactly! :cool1:

I went back and read from page 50 onwards, wanted to get more of the beginning of Fran's leg. How is she doing with the walking? You have been such a trooper with all that's happened.

I'm so sorry you guys lost so many kitties so quickly together  Mac is so handsome! I almost brought home two from PetsMart last year, I regret that I couldn't at the time.

Actually she set herself back quite a bit with the whole Disneyland Performance. She should have stayed home, but she hat this silly loyalty that made her feel obligated to do it. Several people tried to talk her out of it, but she would have nothing of it. The morning of the performance she was very sorry, but I think in the long run she will be glad to have done it since it was the last time we will play there unless Disney changes their policy.

Thank you, if you knew our history, I probably should have my trooper badge, but I just view it as part of the "for better or worse" even though we didn't get to say that until September 2008 and we had been through far worse before we even got there!

It was a really sad kitty time, but we knew it was coming because they were all Fran's cats that she got just before we met and it will be officially 15 years of dating exclusively on January 8th next year, so they were all pretty old and had really good lives.

Mac needs a playmate, so we're looking. We need another cat about 1 yr old so that he stops torturing the old ladies around the house! :rotfl2:

So I'm a few days late, but I have an update! I made my reservations at the Wilderness Lodge for next year earlier this week! We'll be staying there for three nights after we check out of the Beach Club Villas, from October 17 - 20, 2012.

I'm starting to build this trip again!

Your rescheduled trip seems to be falling into place! :goodvibes

It's looking like our next DL trip will be Nov 3 - 7, 2012, 6 adults and 1 DGS. I'm not too thrilled using the weekend, but our DS can't afford to take off the weekday nights. This way he may only need to take off 1 maybe 2 nights.

How excellent you were able to get VWL booked! It is such a good feeling getting off the phone with DVC when you were able to get what you wanted :)

I agree, even though the performance set her back a little, it would have been horrible to look back, if this does turn out to be the last time, and have missed it.

Well it looks like I'll be adding another 2012 trip, not like I have any more vacation time but this can't be helped. Just found out about the Harry Potter set tours in London. Absolutely must go see them.
