Pteranadon Flyers safety belt?

Okay we will be going to US for the first time next week. DS6 is on the autism spectrum he loves coasters and stuff but they have always been seated with one of us beside him. I know he will love this ride but I am worried that he can get out if it is just a lap belt. Can anyone explaine to me how you are strapped into the seat.

The seat belt can not be un-buckled unless it is at the station.

My husband said he saw them wrap the belt around one small child's legl. I'm not sure if it was an added belt or if they just a intertwined the lap belt around the leg, but this may be something to ask about.
