PSB vs CRT

I wanted to make some comments on the two princess meals. Let me say first off that they were both fantastic and we had a great time! When I asked my 9 year old DD which one she preferred, she said she liked CRT better "for the castle" and PSB better for the princess interactions.

The meals were okay. My DH liked the CRT breakfast, but he didn't like the PSB dinner at all. I loved my PSB dinner, but not so much the CRT breakfast, so go figure :rotfl: He got a venison stew at PSB and I got the braised lamb (yummy!).

Overall, I preferred the PSB. Akershus is a nice restaurant and it's so pretty inside. It feels more cozy than the castle does.

The princess interaction was far better (for us) at PSB. The princesses seemed to spend more time with DD and every one of them hugged her, whereas she didn't get any hugs at CRT -- not sure if this is important to you or not, but it really won over my DD. Ariel was at PSB and she even did a little dance for us when we told her we liked her legs. We also thought it was so cute at PSB, there were two elderly men having dinner there and the princesses fussed all over them and the men just loved it. Hmmmm... were they there for the food or the girls??? ;)

Anyway, we'd do them both again in a heartbeat, but if I had to choose only one it would be PSB, as it was a wee bit better princess:

Sounds like they are just about even. We are doing both for breakfast next month. Can't believe I am down to 30 days until we leave. I am hoping for a good mix of princesses. Who did you see and where?

Hope you have a good time! We ended up seeing every princess but Pocahontas -- we found Mulan in China (I know she's not technically a princess, but she's great anyway!).

At CRT, there was Cinderella, Snow White, Aurora, Mary Poppins, and Belle. Oh, and the Fairy Godmother was downstairs in the throne room. She had a nice long conversation with my daughter, LOL. For whatever reason, my daughter told her that I wasn't letting her see Ariel, so Fairy Godmother was telling her where to find her, and then called me over to make sure I knew where to go and at what time (Ariel's Grotto).

At PSB, there was Cinderella, Belle, Aurora, Jasmine, and Ariel.

You know what I'm realizing now, though. I didn't see any princes! Dang!

Is Ariel still only appearing at lunch in Epcot or does she appear at the PSB too??

Thanks!

Thank you for the reviews, we're doing CRT breakfast and PSB dinner also in Dec. Your comments are reassuring that this is a good decision.

I don't know about lunch, but she was at the dinner! I don't think there are really any guarantees as to which princess will be where. Except Cinderella at CRT of course :)

OMG, thank you for informing me there is a princess dinner! We're going in December for my daughter's birthday and she won't go anywhere there aren't multiple princess: princess: princess:
