Who has a high school Junior taking the PSAT tomorrow?

How is the student spending the evening tonight?

My DD is taking practice tests. Not sure if that would work for me!

My DD14 (sophomore) took the PSAT in school last week. She had taken it last year as well....so she wasn't really nervous about it this time.

My DD took it earlier this week. She took it before. She said it was easy.

DS (sophomore) is taking it tomorrow. He's doing practice tests tonight, or so the story went when he went into his room.

Well, he just threw the dog out of his room...he (the dog, who's looking pretty offended) must've been getting pesty, so maybe he really is studying.

I'm talking the PSAT next year. I'm not looking forward to it in the least.

My 8th grader just took it on Tuesday. Sadly I don't think she actually studied.

My 9th grader took it this week. All 9th and 10th grader in our district are required to take it. She says it wasn't too bad.

Here's why:
The 2008 PSAT/NMSQT test dates are Wednesday, October 15 and Saturday, October 18. You must sign up for the PSAT/NMSQT at your high school or at another high school in your community. This test is administered by high schools, not through test centers. Online registration for the PSAT/NMSQT is not available. Please note that each high school chooses only one October test date.

My DD#1 is taking it tomorrow. She tells me she's looked through the booklet. She is also at the game (she is a cheerleader). We left at the half because they were really losing big.
I'm sure she won't be in bed early enough because a friend of ours saw her blow through a red light today, and DH told her at halftime we're parking her car for at least a week, and she is royally ticked. So I'm sure she won't get a great score. Oh well--hopefully it will spur her to study more when she takes the ACT.
Oh, and this also means I have to get up and take her. Better find out when it's over.

FINALLY got their scores today! Anyone else? If not, they'll be coming soon!

My junior did really well on the reading (for him at least!), well on the math (but not nearly as high as he'd hoped), and about what he expected on the writing. 68/69/60.

My sophomore did really well on the math (67), but needs to do a lot of work on his other two sections before he takes the test for real next year!

Anyone else care to share?

That's where my sophomore was in his other two sections - I think a 51 and a 50 on the two non-math ones. We come from a math family!
