My DH got stung by a mud wasp over the weekend. He didn't think mich of it until the whole area near the sting started to sweel and turn red. It looked like cellulitis to me, and over his objections he went to the dr.. Sure enough, it was cellulitis, and he's now on a strong antibiotic. His dr. told him that he's seen 4 patients this week with wasp bites that progressed to cellulitis!! This can be very serious if untreated, so if you get stung, keep an eye on the wound
