I've heard that you can book priority seating on the terrace at the Rose and Crown, for a good view of IllumiNations. Does anyone have any details on this and can you book well in advance, preferably by email?
you have to phone, prefererably 180 days in advance, and request a table for around 7:30.
Then on the day, I would recommend stopping by the restaurant earlier in the day and mentioning at the podium that you would like a patio seat - we did this, and then mentioned it again when we checked in at 7:30 and said we didn't mind waiting. We waited about 10 minutes and then got a perfect lakeside seat and an amazing view of the fireworks.
Noone will guarantee you a patio seat as they are the most popular, but we found if you are friendly and ask nicely then the staff will do there best to help you out. The very pushy obnoxious guy standing behind us was seated at the back of the pub (I know because the waitress told me he was getting on her nerves, so he was getting a rubbish table.)
Thanks for the replies. Someone from the US PM'd me and offered to phone the Rose and Crown, to make our priority seating arrangements for us, so saving us the price of a long distance call. How kind was that!!
