I have 40 days until my window opens and I need advice on my choices. A little note though--Ohana's is out as a choice. My daughter (9) has a severe allergy to bananas and I want to just skip that choice.

We are on the dining plan--2 adults (1 has never been to WDW), 3 children and are staying at POR.

Day 1--Magic Kingdom--Dinner at Crystal Palace

Day 2--Hollywood Studios--Dinner at Captain's Grille

Day 3--Epcot--Dinner at Garden Grill

Day 4--Hollywood Studios/Blizzard Beach--Dinner at ESPN Club, Boatwright's, or Beaches and Cream (oop) (I am leaning towards Boatwright's)

Day 5--Animal Kingdom--late breakfast (brunch) at Tusker House

Day 6--Magic Kingdom--breakfast at Chef Mickey's and dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern

Day 7--Typhoon Lagoon--Dinner at 1900 Park Fare

Day 8--Epcot--no reservations--leave after CS lunch

I can't think of anything Ohana serves that contains bananas except for the dessert. And another dessert could be substituted.

Looks great to me- but just curious about the allergy and Ohana??
From what I've read and seen, i dont think that there are bananas in anything on the main menu/platter at ohana. Just your typical breakfast stuff- and there's a fruit bowl first but no bananas.
Anyone else know anything about this?

My understanding is there are items made with bananas and pineapple in the dinner menu. Both of which she is allergic to. There are also, from what I can gather, banana trees at the Poly.

Her allergy is such that touching a banana will make me have to bring out the epipen, so we just bypass it.

Kona is off our list, too. Look at this website: http://allears.net/pl/latex2.htm I looked at the items and if they served it on a buffet, it was a double no for us. Ohana is family style, right? So that means anything could touch. Not chancing it, sorry.

ETA: I should clarify--her allergy is first to latex. Banana is a known item with proteins similar to latex she has had a reaction to, and therefore we have taken kiwi, pineapple, avacado, and other problematic items from her menu. When you are chancing an allergic reaction, you can't be too careful, IMO. There are plenty of choices without Ohana.
