Welcome over to the (deep raspy breath)
DVC side, young skywalker. I was at the OKW for July 4th, 2006 with DW, DD4, DS9, DD12 and DMIL364.
We had a two bedroom across from the check-in area.
We loved OKW. Quiet, Laid Back, Lovely setting. The Community Hall was great as were the CMs.
Our Kids loved the new slide in the active pool, and I don't think we even used a quiet pool. Our balcony overlooked a golf course, there was lots of assorted wildlife begging for food on that golf course, which we threw bread crumbs down to (3rd floor unit).
Never had a parking issue, and busses to from EPCOT, MK were fine. I drove to all our PS or is that ADP, or PDQs now as well, and did one EMH at the MK to either 12 or 1 in the morning!
Park was crowded and hot and humid. (Did I mention we were there July 4th!)
Anyway, I'm planning on a grandvilla for our next trip (Aprilish 06) for the five of us, and maybe each kid bringing a friend or not, The GV point totals are so low, that I just really want to splurge once!
