I know there was a thread about this earlier, but I can't find it. I have a friend who will be proposing in WDW next week. Where would you recommend he do it. He is looking for a romantic place. I suggested MK behind the castle overlooking the water during the fireworks. Any thoughts?

I think that's a good spot. Also the Poly beach at fireworks seems to be popular. Honestly though, when your boyfriend is proposing, any spot seems perfect!

i think its a great idea. but he absolutely must go to giftsofalifetime.com and set up an event for it. Jane is amazing!

Hi all,
Actually, 2 Years ago I proposed to my wife at WDW. After thinking about it long and hard I decided that I would do it the first night at a romantic dinner at Victoria and Alberts. When I arrived I asked the waitress if she could bring the ring out at desert. She said no problem and they even have a safe in the back to store it (They get about 1-2 proposals a week). When it was time for desert, they brought a silver tray out for my wife. When they lifted the top, there was the ring, sitting on a bed of flowers. It was wonderful, they were all so nice and even joked that as to why my crying wife to be wasn't touching her real desert. Just an idea.

DH and I were waiting in line to see Dopey in Fantasyland and the CM told us how one girl's dream was to be proposed to in front of Snow White and Dopey. She said that they held the rest of the line back, and that's just what he did... Not for everyone (I would have felt funny), but I thought it was definitely different:-)
